Operations Manager


Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of JFP, Canada, by overseeing production, post production, distribution, finance and office management
  • Coordinate the Canadian partnership with Master Studio and JPO Distribution by:
    Developing and maintaining an on-going language/product list for Canadian production; establishing and maintaining working agreements and overseeing the transfer of funds
  • Manage field production of new language products by overseeing:
    The production and post-production of all new JESUS products in Canada
  • Set up and maintain film teams for Canadian-produced and funded films, where appropriate, by:
  • Initiating partnerships with local Campus Crusade for Christ International groups or other local field agencies that will set up and supervise film teams and report to JFP Canada
  • Disbursing funds and collecting reports
  • Manage the office facility and equipment by overseeing:
    All duties of the Office and Finance Manager pertaining to providing adequate work space for each staff person and equipment and computer software necessary for each staff person to efficiently carry out his/her duties
  • Manage the department’s expense accounts by overseeing: All duties of the Office and Finance Manager pertaining to financial transactions, record-keeping and reporting
  • Assist with fund development by recruiting new ministry partners to The JESUS Film Project
  • Coordinate The JESUS Film Project, Canada, component of the Cities of the World movement by:
  • Working closely with the JFP, Canada director and the Cities of the World director to create, implement and sustain a national and international strategy compatible with the goals of the movement

    Qualifications: 

  • A deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ 
  • A genuine desire to see people’s lives changed 
  • Consideration given to candidates with advanced training in management and experience in the field of management and or operations 
  • Superior interpersonal skills 
  • Superior management/supervisory skills in planning, organizing, prioritizing, scheduling and implementation 
  • Warm-hearted, fun, committed, dedicated and mature evangelical Christian with a keen desire to serve in work, church, family and community 
  • Willingness to commit to the Power To Change mission and ministry philosophy 
  • Impeccable character and reputation. Pleasing personality with a positive and progressive outlook in the midst of a busy and challenging atmosphere

    Reporting Relationships:

    Reports directly to JFP Director

    Supervises: Production Manager, Post Production Manger, Assistant Manager of Distribution, Office and Finance Manager

    Works closely with: Masters Studio Area managers, JPO Area managers, Power to Change national directors, JF coordinators and coverage coordinators, JFP Communications Manager

    Working Conditions:

    Normal office conditions prevail
