Internet Ministry: Mentor Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- This involves ministering to mentors/mentorees, managing the administration of the mentoring system, mentor care and taking leadership for the direction of the mentoring ministry
- Respond to assigned emails as an active mentor
- Pray for the effectiveness of the mentors in your community
- Pray for God’s wisdom and discernment as mentors respond
- Troubleshoot admin problems (Respond to questions, issues and problems of mentors)
- Add/remove mentors from community
- Manage availability (vacation) times of mentors
- Manage email activity of mentors
- Manage daily email load for mentors and reassign when necessary
- Discipleship of mentors
- Newsletter (tips, advice, updates)
- Troubleshoot personal problems
- Watch mentor correspondence (promptness & quality)
- Review mentor responses at random intervals for quality purpose
- recruit new mentors
- Process new mentor applications
- Train new mentors
- Develop/improve mentor training (e-learning)
- Work with content team to develop new ways to promote mentoring
Qualifications:
- A deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
- A genuine desire to see people’s lives changed
- Prayerful
- Love to counsel, encourage and share the gospel
- Excellent knowledge of the Internet and related technologies
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in training and developing new staff/volunteers
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Organized and detail-orientated
- Flexible in handling multiple assignments simultaneously
Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly to Campus Internet Ministry Director
Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions prevail
