Human Resources Recruiter


Responsibilities:

  • To recruit commissioned staff for the needs of core services and field ministries. This includes:
  • Partnering with the Campus Ministry for recruiting priorities across Power to Change 
  • Developing existing relationships and generating new relationships with: Bible School contacts; University/College contacts; churches; donor base 
  • Serve as an integral member of the Recruiting Strategy Team: develop strategies and creatively discern new ways to build relationships and procure new staff 
  • Continual communication with contacts, potential recruits, ministry leaders and staff through telephone and email contact, meetings, events and traveling to Canadian destinations 
  • Implementation of the recruiting strategy as developed by the Recruiting Strategy Team and other duties as required, such as: public speaking and event planning 

    Qualifications :

  • A deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
  • A genuine desire to see people’s lives changed 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to network among all demographics 
  • A professional approach and demeanor 
  • Highly organized, energetic and self-motivated 
  • A willingness to learn 
  • An ability to conceive creative concepts 
  • Post-secondary education and experience is an asset 
  • Public speaking experience is beneficial

 

Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly the Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator

Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions prevail
Some domestic travel will be required
