God At Work

Written by stacy

“Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, ‘I will never, never fail you nor forsake you’”
(Hebrews 13:5).

Today we celebrate the contribution the work force has made to the stability and well-being of our country.

But at the same time, like never before, Americans are not satisfied with their jobs.? Only half of the population is happy where they work.

Rather than our work affecting our attitude, our attitude should affect our work for the better.? In fact, Martin Luther wrote:

The maid who sweeps her kitchen is doing the will of God just as much as the monk who prays? – not because she may sing a Christian hymn as she sweeps, but because God loves clean floors.”

Dear one, God has placed you in just the right job for you to have an impact on your world.? Ask God how He might use you at work!
