“Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me”
(Psalm 23:4a).
Anyone who’s been in a dark alley late at night knows…. Your imagination can play all sorts of tricks on you.? A shadow or a strange figure up ahead…sounds which make your skin crawl…animals running around your feet in the dark…. You’re scared!
But the Bible says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil??? for God, my Shepherd, is close beside me.
That “valley of the shadow??? may be where you are right now… fear of losing your job… or your spouse.? Maybe you’re fearful about a pending prognosis.
Turn to your Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ.? He loves you!? And even though there will be dark alleys to tred, God will be right there with you every step of the way.
