The Lessons Are In The Journey
“So you became our followers and the Lord’s; for you received our message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the trials and sorrows it brought you”

“Are we there yet?? How much longer ‘til we get there, mommy????
If you’re a mother, you’ve heard those questions coming from the back seat of your car a million times!? Children don’t understand that half the enjoyment of a road trip is the view along the way!
And you know, the same is true for us in life!? We want to “get there??? while God cautions us to be patient and enjoy the view…to learn the lessons He has for us in the journey.
Today you may be facing an unexpected turn in your life…a road you didn’t ask to be traveling on.? Friend, God is teaching you something!? Focus on learning the lesson rather than changing the direction!
Remember, dear one, God is preparing us for what lies ahead.
And the lessons are in the journey…because we’re not there yet!
