God Comforts

Written by stacy

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins”
(Isaiah 40:1-2).

Betty gave birth to identical twin boys, Mack and Zack.? Mack was a healthy baby; however, Zack had stopped breathing.

The nurse pushed a button and immediately the room was full of doctors. Zack’s body filled up with fluid and stopped functioning.? They hooked Zack to a machine as he fought for his life.

Betty cried out to God in prayer.? Then she felt His peace and comfort surround her.? She surrendered her son into God’s hands.? After three days, Zack miraculously improved!? Betty was eventually able to take him home.

Isaiah says, “The Lord comforts His people and has compassion on His afflicted ones.???

Friend, when your life is falling apart, ask God to comfort you.? You may not always escape adversity, but God promises to help you through it.
