Bloom Where You’re Planted

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus???
(1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Change is a fact of everyday life, yet it’s a hard thing for most people to accept! That was especially true for me in the 1990s.? We moved, along with the Campus Crusade for Christ staff, from Southern California to Orlando, Florida.? I’ll admit it was a hard transition for me.? California was where our sons grew up.? We had so many wonderful memories….? We’d been well planted there for 42 years.

But it isn’t where God plants us that’s important.? To paraphrase an old adage, what’s important is that you, “bloom where you’re planted.??? And that’s been true of our ministry here in Orlando.

God may be changing your circumstances, friend.? Remember, no matter where he plants you, He wants you to blossom and to use you right where you are!
