A Child’s Tea Party
Turn your bible to 1 Corinthians 13 and read about the love we need to have for those around us.
1 Corinthians 13
Friend and fellow author Emilie Barnes loves to give tea parties! One day she invited a couple of young girls from her neighborhood over for a dress-up tea party.? She bought them each a teacup.? Emilie served tea and scones with raspberry jam and whipped cream.
The girls had such fun!? Emilie explained that they could keep their teacups to remind them of their special party.? She then spoke about Jesus’ love with them in a very simple way.? Today, Emilie says, those girls are her dearest little neighborhood friends.
You see, it doesn’t take a minister or special service to share Jesus with your neighbors.? God wants to use you to share His love with those in your neighborhood.? Let Him use you, right where you are.
