Bernice was an elderly woman who had lived through tremendous adversity.
One day, her pastor spoke with her about death.? Bernice told the pastor she was not afraid of dying.? Instead of thinking about death, she preferred to focus on the Bible’s promises of Christ’s return.
Bernice looked at the pastor and said with a smile, “Pastor, I’m not looking for the undertaker.? I’m looking for the Uppertaker!???
The book of Romans says, “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.? So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.???
Friend, if you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, you don’t ever have to be afraid of death.? Whether you are 18 or 80, remember that Christ died so that you could live forever!
And that is Good News!
