“Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it”
(Proverbs 22:6).
Marine Lance Corporal Michael Williams was killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom.? He received Christ as a young boy.? However, Michael rededicated his life to God just before his deployment.
Since Michael’s death, his mother Sandy draws strength from one verse in Proverbs, “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.???
Sandy is grateful that Michael learned about God as a child.? Even though he drifted in his relationship with Christ for awhile, Michael returned to God before his death.? Sandy prays others would receive Christ as a result of Michael’s story.
Dear friend, pray for the children in your life.? Take them to church and teach them about God.? Help them to be prepared for difficulties they will face in life, but especially prepared for eternal life!
