A New Family

Written by stacy

“When he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy”

(Matthew 8:1-3).

Susan had a difficult childhood.? Her mother was abusive and often threatened to commit suicide. Susan wanted to run away.? She started smoking and drinking, and became rebellious.

When she was fifteen a neighbor invited Susan to church. The pastor said, “God loves you and He has a plan for your life.???

Susan closed her eyes and whispered, “God, if you are real, I need to know.??? Suddenly she felt as if God had wrapped her in a warm blanket and enclosed her in His love.? Then she asked Jesus Christ into her heart. Susan prayed for healing in her family.? It wasn’t long before her mother and father also received Christ!? Now Susan’s family is a wonderful picture of God’s healing touch.

Friend, do pray for your family.? Your prayers can make a difference.
