“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. . . ”
(Galatians 5:22,23)

One of our dearest friends had a 25-year-old son who’d never grown past the baby stage–mentally or physically.? The joy of his birth turned to sorrow as the years passed and their son never matured.?

I can’t help but wonder how God must feel when He sees our lack of maturity–even after years of knowing Him.?

So many young women say to me, “Vonette, I want to be a woman of God–how can I make that happen?”? The answer has to do with growing up…

Galatians says when the Holy Spirit controls your life, He’ll produce in you love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.? Now that’s what I’d call growing up!
