“not Your Own Client???

Written by stacy

“Jesus said to Him, ‘I am the Way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.’???
(John 14:6)

Attorneys have a familiar saying, “A person who serves as his own attorney… has a ‘fool’ for a client.”

Well, I’m grateful for many friends who are legal counselors.? Their lives are dedicated to helping people understand complicated laws.

But when it comes to eternity, in standing before God, many people have foolishly decided they don’t need an intercessor.? They think they can represent themselves.? They think, “Maybe I’m not good enough to go to heaven, but I’m certainly not bad enough to go to hell!”

But, the fact is, it’s not your opinion, or my opinion that matters!?

It’s God’s heaven, and there’s only one way to get there!?

That’s through your personal faith in Jesus Christ.

So, don’t be “foolish,” trying, in your own goodness, to represent yourself before God!? Trust in the Wonderful Counselor, Jesus Christ.
