Into The Light

Written by stacy

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)

Pastel artist Sally Strand has walked through some dark valleys.? But today, as her paintings reflect the light of the sun, Sally reflects the light of Jesus Christ.

God taught Sally a valuable lesson when her three – year – old had ear surgery.? The doctor had to put needles into her son’s arm.? He advised Sally to leave.? Instead, she laid close to her son and put her face next to his.? ? Her son cried, “Mommy, why don’t you save me from this pain????

Sally’s tears rolled down the boy’s face.? Then she felt God say, “Sally, this is what it was like when you were in crisis.? I was this close to you.? I shed tears too, but you were too young for me to explain what I have to do.???

Friend, trust God through the dark valleys of your pain.
