Ways To Give

Unexpected Journey

Written by stacy

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
(Romans 5:5)

Carol Kent’s only child, Jason, was arrested and charged with first – degree murder.? Then he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

But Carol is able to see God’s hand in this.? By sharing her story today, she gives others the opportunity to find life – giving hope in the cross of Jesus Christ.?

During this painful ordeal, Carol and her husband decided to establish an organization to positively impact prisons.? With 2,000 prisons in the United States, there are thousands of inmates in need.? God is using the Kents and their organization, Speak Up for Hope, to affect inmates.? Carol says God “can take a situation like ours and redeem it for His purposes.????

Friend, your situation may seem beyond redemption.? But God can and will work through your tragedy.
