Niagara Falls is synonymous with the starts of marriages.? But Dr. George Sweeting witnessed a tragic end at the falls one wintry day.?
A sea gull was picking away at a fish frozen in ice.? As it approached the edge of the falls, the bird’s claws froze to the ice. Ice, fish and bird were carried over the falls into a swirling mass of water and foam below.
Friend, so often we’re just like that bird.? There’s something dangerous in our life, and we just don’t want to let it go: an inappropriate relationship, or a desire for something.? But if you don’t let go, it will kill you.
