And I think you all realize that this book (and movie)is just another tool in Satan's arsenal to try to deceive people. Satan KNOWS the truth, he just doesn't want anyone else to know it. He has tried since the beginning of time to destroy God and God's work. But fortunately, we know the end of the story. GOD WILL WIN!! Hallelujah! For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth! I say YES! that's why it was written. That's its PURPOSE. BUT we can not just sit down and discuss! What can I do as an individual? 1. Get fully acquainted about what you believe. in other words, take time to deeply know the Word of God through the 66 books of the scriptures. 2. Take charge of opportunities to speak of your faith (and do it boldly). The scripture says that God will always give us what to say. (make sure you ask Him to help you communicate. It's worked for me many times!) 3. Let's not argue (with them that believe otherwise) but rather gracefully communicate what we believe. 4. Pray to the God of the scriptures. He will defend Himself. He can. He only needs to use each one of us. 5. Let's not waver as individuals. For if we stand our ground...James 4:7 This treachorous piece of writing will not 'grab' the elect. So how can we talk to them about something if we tell them that we simply believe by faith and that's just not good enough for them? There are many who have no Biblical knowledge, and base their faith experience or spiritual journey on feelings and experience. What we have to offer is the truth according to the Bible, and knowing what our faith is built on, the person of Jesus Christ, God's son sent to earth to die for our sins. He was crucified by the Jews because of that claim to be God, and this wasn't something that was 'made up' hundreds of years after the fact. This is a great time for all of us to know why we believe and be ready to lovingly share that with others.
