“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender – hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
(Ephesians 4:31 – 32)
Barb and Jack came into their pastor’s office feeling very hopeless.? Jack said he didn’t love his wife anymore.? He was in love with another woman.? Jack insisted his marriage was over.
The pastor said, “Jack, if you believe there’s a God – and if you apply God’s Word to your life and marriage – and if you’ll ask God for the strength you do not have – I guarantee on the authority of the holy name of Jesus, God will put your marriage back together.???
And God did restore their marriage.? It took commitment, hard work and a willingness to trust God for strength.? But Barb and Jack re-established their relationship.
Dear one, the road to victory is often long and arduous.? And that’s no less true in marriage.? But if you’re willing, God can perform your marriage makeover.
