The group behind this blog had planned an in-theatre ad campaign to encourage The Da Vinci Code movie-goers to come online and discuss what they had seen. In an unexpected move, Cineplex Odeon decided today the ads were too controversial and has pulled the spots from theatres in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto.
You can see the banned ad for yourself.

In response to the decision, Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada issued a press release:
Vancouver – May 17-06 — Cineplex Odeon theaters today cancelled a planned in-theater advertising campaign by Campus Crusade for Christ. Valued at more than $60,000, the ads were part of the organization?s program encouraging the public to view The Da Vinci Code movie and explore religious issues raised by the film.
. . . . . . . . . .
?Aside from the obvious concern for free speech, our campaign is a thoughtful and positive one with messaging that the public will find interesting,? Douglas said. ?Judging by the public?s response so far, people are eager to explore their religious faith, which we believe is a positive step.?
Does the ad seem insidious to you? Harmful? Controversial? Something tells me there?s something more going on here.
In an article in the May 16th edition of the Toronto Star, Business Reporter Rick Westhead accused Campus Crusade for Christ of using the ads as part of a campaign to stalk theatre-goers. That?s simply not true. Campus Crusade for Christ exists because we believe that knowing Jesus is a life-changing experience. Where people are discussing spiritual things, we want to be part of the discussion. The Da Vinci Code has got people discussing Jesus and we want to be part of the conversation.
The truth about Jesus, as we understand it, is basic and fundamental. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully human came to Earth, lived a sinless life and died to bring fallen humanity back into relationship with God. You can read more about it in ?Uncover the Truth?. Campus Crusade for Christ wasn?t planning to be a public nuisance or decry the film. We just wanted to talk. Cineplex Odeon doesn?t seem to think that?s such a good idea.

Rose, I agree with what you said about nobody accepting Jesus by someone arguing with them. I was reminded of something yesterday, that argument only generates heat and not light. Let’s as Christians reach out to those seeking with gentleness the way God reached out to us when we were unsaved. We had a great discussion this morning in one of the chat rooms. Our topic was “Talking About the DaVinci Code”. We went beyond the book and the movie and discussed questions like “Is it enough to believe Jesus lived? Does it matter what we believe about Him, and who is He anyhow? How will we engage with loved ones and others who may be seeing the movie? Made for a great discussion. Join us in TheLife chat room at 12:15 p.m. Eastern from Monday-Friday. On Monday our topic is: “The Resurrection” http://www.thelife.com/thelife_chat/5.html&channel=thelife
As a former cinema manager from the Cineplex world, I can not say I am surprised by their actions. Since their nearly complete monopoly in the industry in Canada, I notice they no longer publish their press releases online anymore.
Cineplex made a bundle on the Passion: here’s the truth, they didn’t think it would make them any money at first. However they managed to get decent rates for the film and were very busy at a slow time of year. People still bought popcorn and pop, and they were hopping for a 6 week run.
Another thing you should know. Cineplex makes their money at the concession. At least 50%, and many times up to 90% of the front door ticket price covers the rental of the film. If you want to send them a message, stop buying the popcorn, pizza, pop, fries …..
In fact the bottom line is so important that pre-show ads are vital to the profitability of the company.
I do feel sorry for the projectionists who would have had to waste time pulling a trailer pack apart because of a deluded Toronto hack writer. (if he had been in Vancouver, or somewhere small, no problem)
Anyone know where I can read this article by the Toronto writer?
Paul, what if you’re wrong?
There’s a link to the Toronto Star in the main article.
This is a pretty interesting conversation. I have not read the Da Vinci Code nor seen the movie as I do not generally go along with popular trends. Here are my thoughts… There are 3 senarios of the origin of life. #1. Nothing created something. Answer- Impossible- something cannot be created by nothing. #2. An impersonal energy created everything. Answer- Impossible- An impersonal energy cannot create personality. #3. A personal being created everything. Answer- Possible. In fact the only possible answer. Only a personal being could create personality. Also I’m thinking about unity and diversity. All philosophies try to answer this connundrum. Unity is found in the Triune God and diversity is found in the Triune God. Unity and diversity are also found in mankind. Unity and diversity co-existing together found in the Triune God as well as in His creation of mankind. Now, this is not specifically about the Da Vinci Code, as I know very little about it, and am not eqipped to comment, but it does touch on the fact the the Triune God exists in 3 persons, one of which is Jesus, the Son. Now, if people are going to write books having characters in them named Jesus, I think theist’s questions and concerns about this should be taken seriously. What do you think? What seems fair to you?
Freedom of speech?
Where do you think you live, the US?
in response to Paige’s comments:
>>#1. Nothing created something. Answer- Impossible- something cannot be created by nothing.
Use caution with that logic. It is very hard to define nothing and something when you talk about life and the universe.
>>#2. An impersonal energy created everything. Answer- Impossible- An impersonal energy cannot create personality.
Again, use caution with that logic. See: evolution or fractals.
>>#3. A personal being created everything. Answer- Possible
Sure, this is possible. But how do you jump to the triune God????
James you asked “how do you jump to a triune God”. It is not a huge leap but rather a progression of Gods revelation of Himself through human history. As Chrisitians we believe that the Jewish nation was “chosen” by God to give a framework to that revelation. The faith of the patriarchs Abraham Isaac and Jacob; Moses, the Law, the prophetic messages proclaiming the coming messiah; all point in our understanding to Jesus Christ and his ministry on earth. Because he did things no one but God (as previously revealed in the OT) could or should do we proclaim Him God. He did not rebuke his followeres from worshipping Him but if not God this would be blasphemous. So we worship him as God. He identified His Father still in Heaven and taught us to pray to Him calling Him Our Father, so we call him God and worship Him as well. Before Jesus left this world he promised to be with us through the work of the Holy Spirit which was poured out on all believers at Pentecost. This Spirit Person once only available to select ministers of God (see Old Testament stories about this) was sent as He promised to teach and strengthen all believers. Not three Gods but God with three expressions of the Divine personality with three different but overlapping ministries.
Jan: I was intending the question to be more along the lines of how do you choose the triune god from the infinite possible choices. thanks for your details. it’s too bad we can’t prove whether they are fact or fiction…
I would have to say it is because the triune God has been made manifest in my life. That relationship is supernatural and based on faith. So I can’t unequivocally prove to you that it is true. It makes sense with what I have been shown about God. That said however, I believe it is a faith based on historical and archaeolgical as well as sociological truth. The church has not always been a good represenatation of that truth but no large religious institution is free of corruption and heresy. Largely Christianity is a community of believers in relationship to their God. I wish I could say we just believe and become the total shining examples of Gods love mercy and grace to everyone but to say so would be a lie. There is still a tension produced by our imperfect selves even though we know we have a place in God’s heart, it is hard to die to our own ideas and own desires every moment. Crucifixion is not only a reality for the Christian (as in Christs atonement for us) but a metaphor for the daily walk we have trusting God’s way and words are the best way to go, and that the Holy Spirit will really give us the strength to do it. I think that is what makes us human, the free choice thing you know?
I say again:
HAHAHAHA!!!! xD
Why does Dan Brown have to have his fictional story around Jesus.
If he says that this book is purely fictional, then why does he put information in the book that he tries to pull from true facts that exist, but that he can twist that are not true.
Does he know how much controvesy he is causing?
Is that the whole idea of this book?
Confuse more people than there already are?
Huge amounts of the population already struggle with understanding and believing in God.
Why spin fictional stories that are around the most historical figure there has ever been and the most controversial figure. Beats me?
Confusion already exists, people need to know that his fictional facts are total lies and can be backed up by true fact. Thank you Campus Crusade for putting your best foot forward and being open to listening to people and helping them know what is right and not lies.
This is a Human Rights Violation since purchasing advertisement space is a service provided to the public by Cineplex Odeon. Under the Ontario Human Rights Code, everyone should have access to the same opportunities and benefits, and be treated with equal dignity and respect, regardless of their religion. It is guaranteed that there should be protection against discrimination in buying or selling goods or services.
Thanks Leslie for getting back onto the track of this blogs theme. It bothers me too that the ads were pulled at the last moment. I would like to know whose decision it was to do that and why. Would they have banned any other ad placed by another religion or would they have feared being accused of discrimination. I think Christians get discriiminated all the time in subtle ways in Canada. I am tired of feeling I have to apologize for being a Christian in my own country.
Supposedly, Cineplex Odeon has a policy about not doing advertising for religious organizations. That was never communicated to us, nor was it an issue during the movie “The Passion of the Christ” when they were more than willing to sell us advertising space.
Brent (Comment #1),
I read Harris’s book and remained unmoved. I know many think it is a great “hit” against all faith (and I admit, its inital energy is striking), but the more I reflect on it afterward, it turned out to be a dud for me. Harris was interesting and sometimes funny, no doubt. But I doubt it will turn the world upside down. Nothing to fear there.
JRush
I am sure the ad was pulled when the film rep caught sight of the Toronto Sun story. One quick phone call to “suggest” the ad be dropped, would be ll that would have needed to happen. If you look at the mismash of comments from Cineplex execs, you can see the “spin” being played out. So dark the con of the exhibitor.
it wasn’t the ad’s content that got the ad banned. It was everything else around the ad. More importantly, the message from this site!
I would have done the same thing if it were my decision. You took what could have been a fairly open and unbiased environment for discussion and plastered Christianity and controversy all over it. No large corporation in their right mind would want to touch that!
Not sure why you didn?t see it coming.
I hope youngest your money back but other then that?you walked into that one.
I truly believe this movie will be used greatly for christians to witness to others but it will also be used to separate the sheep and the goats as the bible says. Ad we see the last days unfold right before our very eyes, its amazing to see true history according to God’s word. We as christians should make use of our TIME in DOING DOR THE TRUTH. If every chrisitan could do what the cult does for a lie than we would probably evangelize this world much faster.
Every chrisitan should see this movie so that they would be able to personally comment on the film before witnessing to others about the film.
In the south pacific where I live, both the Solomon islands and Samoa has asked for the removal of the film in their countries. WHY didnt other countries think about this.
I truly believe that God wants every christian to stand up and start sharing and defending their FAITH, handling properly the WORD of God in LOVE, COMPASSION AND TRUTH.
Sp?k: Not according to the theatre chain. The chain made it very clear that they were banning the ad because it was purchased by a religious organization.
As for “fairly open and unbiased environment for discussion and plastered Christianity and controversy all over it.”
The controversy was there long before we got involved. In fact it was the controversy that made it important for us to get involved.
The fact the ads were banned makes it clear that it is not an “Open environment”. It is biased towards the viewpoint of The DaVinci Code movie and Sony Pictures.
In response to “plastering Christianity all over it”, is it not the book and movie that brought Christianity and the Church into it in the first place? Are we not allowed to respond?
sheldon: I?m not saying it is wrong to have controversy. Quite the opposite. Christ, Himself had controversy written all over Him every time clashed with the religious rulers. That and the fact that without controversy, what really gets changed? Not much if you ask me.
No large corporation wants to be dragged into a religious debate and regardless what side of the fence you are on, you have to agree with me on that. Stop looking at this from your point of view and try looking it from the theatres?. It makes sense that way.
Cineplex Odeon says it was because they realized that it was a Religious Organization that bought the commercial. I think that would have been obvious months ago if they saw that ?Campus Crusade for Christ? that was paying for it. Either that or CCC chose not to reveal their ulterior motives. Not sure either way but somebody made a mistake.
I really wonder if Cineplex Odeon would have shown the commercial if CCC made this site very unbiased and truly a place for people to discuss and not to convert. Just a thought.
If you fight controversy with even more controversy, Christians will loose every time no matter how much backing you have. If you disagree, read the epistles again!
My main point was, and still is, is ?WHAT DID YOU EXPECT??!??
(and if this is what you expected, then why all the complaining? Riddle me this?)
Sp?k — I can’t speak for Sheldon, but for me I would have expected them to say “no religious organizations” up front and not sold us the ads in the first place. I also would have expected them to have had the same rule in place when we tried to purchase similar ads during The Passion of the Christ and yet, as has been mentioned before, our money was good then and the ads ran. The earlier ads were more overtly religious that the DVC ads. Instead of going to a discussion blog they went directly to a website that was (and remains) unapologetically evangelistic.
For me it’s not so much a question of this particular ad as it is this — why is Cineplex Odeon willing to show a movie with overt religious themes but are not willing to show a commercial connected to a group with overt religious themes? If they were really saying “we don’t want to get involved in religion” then it would have made more sense for them to pass on showing The Passion and also pass on DVC. Cineplex Odeon is a business and as such I agree that they have the right to show or not show what they will. I just think that they should play by their own rules. If it’s no religious content, then apply that across the board.
There has been a lot of talk on this blog about Christians “shoving religion down people’s throats” but for me I don’t see that. If people are not interested in what is being discussed here they are free to leave. If they want to be part of the conversation and disagree with everything that is being said, they are free to stay and keep talking, provided that they keep their language clean and their comments relevant. (As has been said before, if your ideas are good there’s no reason to resort to name calling.) If we were trying to hoodwink people into a belief system why even start with a discussion? Why not ban any comment that doesn’t line up 100% with what we believe?
I don’t think that anyone makes a decision about faith because someone tricked them into it or backed them into a corner. The decision to believe or not to believe, to assign value to it or to dismiss it is a process. If someone could be hoodwinked into making what I believe is the right choice, where’s the value in that? For me it’s not a question of coercion — faith that has been forced is without value — but rather a question of information. If someone is making a decision based on faulty information I have a responsibility to share what I know, but the decision to change an opinion or not is in the hands of the opinion holder. I am not arrogant enough to believe that I can change someone’s mind about God. But if there is a discussion about God going on, if people are talking about the life of Christ in relation to the way it portrayed in a popular novel, I want to be a part of that. And if, as a result of that discussion someone does change their view of God, then I’ll celebrate that because I believe it is an important and wonderful thing. But if they don’t, I’m not going to yell louder thinking that it will have an effect.
Sp?k, you are right! What corporation like Cineplex would want to enter into religious controversy or be seen to support a biased viewpoint.
Better to make sure those crazy Christians don’t go messing things up for people who just want to have a nice night out with a totally unbiased hollywood movie that has nothing to do with any religion or contentious subject (like Christianity or it’s origins) and certainly not anything about Jesus Christ …
…whoops! OK so maybe the Da Vinci Code isn’t entirely unbiased and OK they do mention Christianity and Christ once or twice I guess (or maybe a little more than that) but it’s not like the whole movie relies on Christainity and Christ as the centre of it’s plot … oh it does? hmmm.
OK so remind me who was it that “plastered Christianity and controversy all over it” again?
On the serious side this begs a question … if a religious group feels that hollywood or any media has given it unfair, biased, offensive or harmful coverage do they have a right to respond? At face value the ad in question is unoffensive and unbiased. As for the website both yours and opposing viewpoints are expressed here.
So what is it that Hollywood is afraid of….!? I did not see anything wrong with this add. It was better done than most seen on the big screen. It is too bad that the media yells about free speach but only gives it to half the people. I noticed that anything that is connected with Christianity is more often than not blocked like this add. When I go to a movie theator I have to watch or ignore the adds I disagree with so why can’t anyone else do the same. Reverse discrimination really bugs me. It does tell us however that they fear something and I guess that God is alive and well and still working in man’s hearts or they wouldn’t care about our adds. They don’t have a problem taking money from anyone else but Christians. To bad maybe they don’t know it but no matter what they do God continues to work in the lives of humans and will do so till the end.
DaveQ Love your response to Sp?k. I agree you can’t have it both ways. Like you’re are free to spread and support your controversy citing irrefutable evidence but we aren’t? Come on. S word of advice. DO NOT GO TO THE MOVIE. It apparently is not as good as the book (which I have read for free and enjoyed as a novel although I didn’t agree with anything in it) and why support this silly premise with our hard earned dollars. I am sure a friend can lend you a copy or for sure the LIBRARY will be accomodating. Just a thot.
Talk about conspiricy theroys? The Bible contains 1000’s of prophecys and some have yet to come to. Why just watch a book based movie when you can discover the 2000 year old story’s of the future.
Revelation Speaks Peace!
In response to Paul’s statement, “why do you care what other people believe?”
Matt 18:14 Just so it is not the will of My Father Who is in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost {and} perish.
Well Paul we are to have the mind of Christ, the Anointed one. If this be the case and it is, then we want to do what we can as Christians to see that none of you perish, without having an opportunity to hear the truth. What I don’t understand is why you and others want to attack Christianity all the time.
I will be the first to admit that the Church has sat back and allowed alot of what we have to deal with today because of our laziness. You took the Bible out of the school with prayer, we did nothing. Halloween can go on as usual, but we better not wear a Christian shirt to school, and you kick out our Nativity displays, try to change the Word CHRISTmas to happy HOLIday, Easter to spring break.
Have you ever asked yourself why you and others like you are tools being used to attack anything that has to do with Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, or anything good about God? You allow everything in the world to be a way of life, but let someone mention the Son of God, and you all step up with foolish hearts and to a very large community express your ignorance.
Romans 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. There is nothing that you can say that God hasn’t already dealt with. It also helps to build my faith knowing that what He foretold you are doing. Your next statement, “Why do you Christians have to go around thumping your Bibles and beliefs on everyone”.
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And
how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach
unless they are sent?
Next, “The question remains: Why do you feel the need to change everyone?s opinion about the whole subject? What do you have to lose? Gain?”
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach {and} publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].
Mark 16:16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.
You can see by the Scripture, that Jeus gave us our marching orders, and if we believe this, then this is why we do it. What do we have to lose? We stand to lose you Paul to the enemy. What do we have to gain? another brother in fellowship for eternity.
Last, “Another question: How much time did any of you spend picketing against or even speaking out against all the Catholic Priest Molestors? Not one I bet. Why is that????
Matt 23:5 They do all their works to be seen of men; for they make wide their phylacteries (small cases enclosing certain Scripture passages, worn during prayer on the left arm and forehead) and make long their fringes [worn by all male Israelites, according to the command].
Acts 6:4 But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word.
God did not command us to picket. He did however tell us to pray continually. First of all for those molested and their families. And then also for those doing the aweful act. There is only temporal power in a picket sign, but there is supernatural eternal power in appraoching the throne of grace with our petitions.
Well Paul I trust that God answered your questions. I am not saying I am God, but all the answers came from His Word. I must add though that with you I don’t believe it has anything to do with a censored add, but everything to do with the fact that you are very angry about your past, and how the Church obviously hurt you and you feel that God has let you down. Well He hasn’t forgotten you or what you have been through, and I would pray that you do not allow those who were responsible to dictate to you whether or not God is real. There are alot of people out there that are giving the church a bad name and bringing disgrace to Jesus. They will have alot to answer for also, but I would ask you that you take your eyes and ears off of Man and put them on Jesus because He is the one who gave His life for you not them. They would send you to hell not Him. His blood was shed not theirs. No matter what you think of others, Jesus still loves you and He still loves them, and you have a free will to recieve God’s Word as truth and accept Jesus or reject it as a lie, and as you put it, “burn in Hell”. God is a gentleman He will not force you. But He does send others like myself to share with you, so that you can make a decision based on the facts. The fact is, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. Your sin never to be remembered again. Man will remember like an Elepahant, but not God. If He cast it away the only one remembering is the devil.
Paul, God Bless you, and I pray Jesus was able to minister to you through me.
In His Service Pastor Jeff

I disagree with this comment. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to do that.
Paul, I?m intrigued when you say, ?Once you become a perfect vessel for the Christ Conciousness, then maybe you will have the authority to preach to me or anyone else.? Very true. But sadly, most Christians don?t get it. I wished they would. I?m sure Christ wished they would too. But like you say, ?when the student is ready, the Master will come.? Very True
I would have to disagree with statement The master has already come, I believe He is waiting on the student. How long? no man knows the day nor the hour. I believe though that the student in this case from reading the site is Paul, and If you look at all the input concerning Paul, I believe that the Holy Spirit has used several people to reach him. CCC may want to start a separate page just so we can continue to minister to Paul. Just a quick note though on the movie, I would not finace anything about it by purchasing a ticket or DVD, also heaven and earth will pass away, But God’s Word will never pass away.
The next time the devil comes at you
remind him of the bar-b-que,
ask him how he likes his flame
compliments of Jesus Name.

Jeff I am not sure that there aren’t instances where God would approve of prayerful picketing for a cause. What do you think?
Sorry about the double negative yikes. Anyway in the past I have been lead to speak out against abortion by peaceful protest, picketing and just through the prayer chain concept. I think it may upset people but does get them thinking. I am not for any form of violent protest no matter what the cause.
You are probably right about the picketing jan, however it has been my experience that we are never heard or portrayed the way we want to be and as a result others see us as thumpers etc. and in the end they run from us rather than to Jesus. It always amazes me that we are the only group (a peculiar people)that are never heard the way we want to be. Also some of these highly educated people crack me up because after all these years the best come back is to call us a Bible thumpers. It’s alright, I’ll love them anyway. God Bless you Jan.
Hello Jan,
I also have been lead to speak out on certain topics. By being lead I mean speaking God’s heart and not my own, and the only way I could judge it is by making sure it was lining up with the Word. I don’t believe in violent protest, in my spirit, but there are times I must admit, when I would just love to ———–, well you have a gret day Jan.
Well I think that is human nature to want to fight back. That is why Jesus words about turning the other cheek are so controversial. In our own strength it is impossible todo. On another of the discusdavinci blogs we were discussing sexual abuse issues and some people feeling abusers should never be forgiven no matter what.
What amazes me is how schizophrenic some people are in their thinking about what Christianity is. We are either boring fuddy duddies that are too pathetic to even consider, or we are so controversial as to be on par with fundamentalist bombers needing to be rounded up and silenced. People just don’t want to think about being resposible before a personal creator I guess so use major avoidance techniques to side step the spiritual confrontation.
I am sure that is why the ad was banned in the first place.
It is funny how some sterotypes of “fuddy duds and radical fundmentalists” christians can label all of us who believe in Jesus Christ. It is sad how some extreme sterotypes can inhibit a serious discussion about spiritual things. A discussion that the world really needs right now. I always believe that God will open the ears that need to hear his message.
All I can say Spuk is there is going to come a day when you will wish you could find you a Christian. You will be able to find where some were standing by the smoking shoes. Be not decieved, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall HE also reap. I believe in these days approaching you are really going to see the Church rise up. We have sat back long enough and allowed the world system to have it’s way. We WILL be victorious, because it is God’s battle. The best thing to do is never bring a knife to a gun fight.
1 Cor 3:18 Let no person deceive himself. If anyone among you supposes that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool [let him
discard his worldly discernment and recognize himself as dull, stupid, and foolish, without true learning and scholarship], that he
may become [really] wise.
Jeff I would be careful of your terminology involving violence. I am not paranoid but I am careful. We as Christians know our battle is with satan and his minions and our weapons are spirital not carnal but the average joe does not and sees these kinds of comments as indication that we are rabid fundamentalists on the lines of other extremist groups. And in fact some supposed Chrisitians have even used Jesus as an excuse to bomb and kill those in the abortion business. Be wise as serpants and harmless as doves.
One other thing, I am not so sure about the smoking shoes thing. It may just be the martyrs axe.
Good decision!
I don’t know if you guys have noticed yet, but the Paul to whom you keep trying to respond stopping participating in this discussion a long time ago – his last post said that he thought he was getting censoring and he ended with, “Happy thumping all”, which indeed sounds like a “signing off” sort of comment. I hope he is continuing to read, but I kinda doubt it.
Hey KarenE
I believe that the conversation has moved on from Paul. I don’t think anyone is addressing him. There is a certain rule of conduct that Paul was not following and as administrators of this blog we felt that his behavior was not acceptable. We gave him many warnings but he did not heed the warnings. We do not censor anyone’s comments on this blog, so his accusations were ill founded.
Thank you all for your response. I understand Paul isn’t commenting anymore. I did leave that comment awhile ago. I guess you are just seeing that and needing to tell me?
You folks don’t seem to know who controls Cinemax-Odeon theatres.they are part of a “group’ that works to destroy christianity yet pretends to cosy up to the Christians while exploiting Chritians who have been indoctrinated using much of the same older sections of the Bible. This ‘group uses murder lies, coercion, and ethnic cleansing to kill Palestinias This group supplied experts to help the United States to fleece, plan, murder and Terrorize other countries. This group has brain-washed many of you to fear and hate Arabs and those who practice Islam. No, I do not mean athiests.
Phil,
Have your heard of a thing called Libel? Are you willing to offer some proof or do you just accuse people of hate crimes for fun?
There was nothing wrong with the Davinci Code. actually there is alot of truth to the Davinci code and I am one who is not afraid to find the Real Truth. Actually the bible does carry alot of Gods ans Goddesses. THIS CAN BE PROVEN.the BIBLE holds alot of SUPERSTITION and CURSES People who read the bible look at it as a today Writing and not in their time when superstition was their way of life. Example- The ADAM AND EVE STORY is a big HOAX proof READ ISAIAH CHAPTER 66 verse 7-8-9 ALSO the story ofMARY MAGDALENE having 7 DEMONS cast out into PIGS and then they jumped off the MOUNTAINSIDE is another same STORY TOLD EXACTLY THE SAME about another man who had DEMONS cast out of him into PIGS WHO WENT OVER THE MOUNTAIN SIDE to HOW IRONIC THE SAME STORY and there also is so many other of same storys EXACT DUPLICATES People preach the bible but i have not meant who has completely read the bible from front to back word for word for if they did A SHOCK WOULD reveal ITS SELF SO QUICK to CRUCIFY any one who wishes to SEARCH for the TRUTH BUT IF ITS NOT WHAT THEY BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE THEN OHHHHHHH ITS DEVILS WORK QUICK TO THROW STONES AND JUDGE but i SAY it takes a DEVIL TO KNOW A DEVIL> EXACTLY JESUS WAS NOTHING MORE THEN A SIMPLE HUMBLE PROPHET A MORTAL MAN who without SUPERSTITION tryed to carry A MESSAGE JESUS SAID THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU AND ALL AROUND YOU NOT IN BUILDINGS OF WOOD AND STONE SPLIT A PIECE OF WOOD AND YOU WILL SEE ME LIFT A STONE AND YOU WILL FIND ME.FOR WHOEVER UNDERSTANS THIS WILL SURELY NOT TASTE DEATH.. people would rather choose the super natural then the truth READ THE BIBLE BETTER FOR WITH THE BLESSING OF LOVE YOU WILL SEE IT IS A PRODUCT OF MAN NOT GOD GOD IS NOT A MAN OF WAR AS MOSES STATED IN EXODUS TO MANY GODS AND GODDESSES AND LORDS OH BY THE WAY LORD WAS WHAT MAN CALLED HIMSELF IN THE PAST U KNOW LORDS AND LADIES
