I believe the same as Travis. I’m a Christian and I don’t believe any of the De Vinci Code. It’s all garbage and is Satan speaking through the unbelievers. Satan is the Prince of Lies.He knows his time is short. He also knows Jesus was Victorious over him and he’s lost already. He wants as many people as he can get before Christ comes back again. Which is very soon. Satan is already a looser and is the Father of all False Prophets. It has been Prophesied in the end days there will be False Prophets and Anti Christ’s. We are just seeing the tip of the Ice Berg. All hell will break loose and woa unto the unbelievers.
You got that right Jesus was never married that wasnt his mission….His mission was to come to earth and save us….I was reading the other day and there is talk that Joseph was a widower and he had sons. That is why they would say Jesus’s brothers those where Joseph’s son from a previous marriage….And Jesus called everyone his brother’s and sister’s. Did you know that some of the apostles were married but left their families to follow the Lord Jesus..They went all parts of the world to preach the Good News..It must of been hard leaving thier families but they also had a mission todo…They couldn’t take their wives with them cause it was to dangerous Cause most of the apostles were killed cause of Jesus. Just one wasnt killed and that was John…John took care of Mother Mary till she when to Heaven….I just hope and pray no one will believe Dan Brown cause its all garbage…..Betty
Hmmm good point Dave, I hadn’t considered that verse in relation to the issue of Jesus’ marraige.
In response to whether Jesus was married or not, we have a pretty good suggestion from the Bible that Jesus was never married. In 1 Cor. 9:5, Paul is defending the right of Christian leaders to take a spouse with them on missionary journeys.
5 Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?
Paul here would want to use the best examples he has of other Christian leaders taking their wives with them. Take note of the best examples Paul has: the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas (Peter). The best examples Paul has include THE LORD’S BROTHERS, but not Jesus himself?!?!?! If the Gospel of Philip is to be believed, and Mary was the companion of the Saviour, and Dan Brown could also be believed when he translates “companion” as spouse, then surely Paul would have listed Jesus as the best example of Christian leaders taking their wives with them! After that, it would have been unnecessary for him to mention others such as the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas. Jesus’ conspicuous absence from this list, is a very strong suggestion from the Bible, that our Savior never got married.
Another thing I might add to what i was saying Our Lord Jesus started preaching when he was 30 yrs old and died when he was 33..He travelled by foot him and his disciples town to town that was alot of walking…And he never knew Mary Madgeline till the towns people wanted to stone her and Jesus said whoever did not sin throw the first stone..And told her not to sin no more and she was so amazed at this man for she knew he was HOLY and she became one of the followers…Know tell me where he got the time to Marry and have children..Him travelling town to town with his disciples must of took lots of time on foot…
I was reading about Mel Gibbson they are putting him down cause he made The Passion of Christ cause he told the truth what was in the gospel and he did his homework to the tea…..St Bridget wanted to know how many blows Jesus got when he was going to be crucifed and Jesus told her he got 5.480 blows and lost 60 thousand drops of blood.. Mel Gibbson was guided by Jesus when he made the movie.. I just think People are against Mel cause the Truth Hurts…It was all our sins that nailed Jesus to the Cross..God Bless you all Betty Martin

I’ve not seen the movie, nor have i read the book. I dont even really know exactly what the da vinci code is, i know philosiphy, but nothing beyond that. I live in a very small town, almost like in the movies where everyone knows everyone and christianity founded this place. However christians are becoming more and more sparse these days in my generation (i’m 16 years old). I know quite a few people who have seen and enjoyed the movie, it has also posed alot of questions in this place where people are so easily deceived, but only because once someone has heard one side of the story, they tend to not worry about the other, even if it may be the truth (and it is in this situation). I never stopped to think about it the way Betty did. You made a good point. I guess if people desired more of the truth, and not of worldly things that seem interesting, less people would be deceived. Those of us who are christians need to remember the ones who may be deceived by this sinful philosiphy in our prayers. We must also truely realize that this isnt simply one mans idea’s but that it is a tool of satan, to use the media to win souls, we must also remember, and expose his lies to the deceived, along with pray for them. -Travis
I have been thinking alot about what they are saying about the davinci code..and all the lies they are saying about Our Lord Jesus…He was 30 yrs old when he started preaching and he got his disciples and travelled town to town and he died when he was 33 when did he get time to get married and have children…He died to save us and this is what Dan Brown does to Our Lord Jesus….And he says that Mary Madgline was sitting near Jesus at his last supper…Did anyone ever think that it might of been His Mother Mary . If I was about to die to save us I think I would want my mother next to me…He did all this in 3 yrs. I can’t see where he had the time to get married and have children he spend so much time with his disciples teaching them the Good News.I hope no one believes this garbage that in the movie and the book..
