I am so thankful that the Lord has given me peace in this area. I pray for each of the women that are having diffuclties in there marraiges I pray that the Lord of all comfort surrond them to know that they are not alone the Lord knows our every need he knows that you feel lonely at times, frustrated and all of our emotions. I too have gone through some difficult times in my marriage I realized that God alone is my Father, Comfortor, Healer, Friend, and also my husband when I feel as though my husband does not do things the way he should or when I feel alone. If I had learned anything through my walk with the Lord He will be all of those things for me if I allow him to be. God is all about relationships and he wants to keep your marriage strong and sometimes he will come in and allow things to happen to see how we will react are you going to give it all to him even your marriage?? Belive me God is a God of restoration and he can and will restore your marriage if you will listen to his small still voice to tell you that he loves you and will do as he promises. With the wirlwind going on around you he is asking that you just surrender to him and give it to him in prayer. I came to a pointe of just wanting to get a divorce in my marriage I realized that the devil really wants to tear down families and relationships that he builds and I had to look through sprititual eyes to see exaclty what was going on. I had to make a stand and in all of it God didn't want to change everyone around me he wanted me to change he wanted me to deal with things in a whole diffrent way which was healthy for me. I thank the Lord that he has restored my marriage and my family it hasn't been easy and it took a while and like the devotional today he is still working on me and my relationships I thank him for all he is going to do in the marriages and what he will continue to do in the lives of the ones around me. We retired 3 years ago and live in a motorhome and have been and seen some beautiful areas but I want to serve first and the beautiful places will just be that much more special !!! I get very lonely as he is not a talker and I have no one but him to talk to these next 4 months. It has been difficult at times. Pleasr pray that I can find comfort in the Lord and will grow through this period of aloneness. I want so much to be like Jesus when with my husband but he has his own interests and I am on my own. Oh, what to do??? We only have dial up after 9PM at night so even chat groups are a little difficult. If anyone has any advice PLEASE ???? Earlier this morning, my husband called me with more bad news of some things going on at work ( this is also more difficult because my husband works for my Father's company.) But for the first time, I actually took the time to pray about the situation first; instead of getting emotional first and praying second and God really blessed me. The situation has not changed at all, but my attitude has. I can't help but know that God answered my prayer in the moment by changing my attitude, but will hopefully also answer my prayer for the long term effect. I try so hard to be a good Christian but my husband sure knows how to push all my buttons and I end up fighting with him so easily and I know that is certainly not being like Jesus and this knowledge is starting to make me doubt that I am worthy of His love and I feel like such a failure. I am going to counseling, when I find the time, with my minister so hopefully it will prove beneficial to our relationship. So could I please ask for prayer for me to totally rely on God for His mercy and grace and for me to be more loving and forgiving as Jesus showed us how? Thanks for all your prayers. I have learn so much threw family sickness. I use to only go by my feelings, I am learning that I have to depend on his word not my emotions.I never understood how those women of faith and seems age goes with it, could be so strong in there faith.I am beginning to see that there long walk with God taught them how to be like Jesus, threw years of test. I have this firey little personality much like Peter. But the lord knows how to calm us and to use us.Lord I thank you threw it all your will is done, and that will is good. teach me everyday you way.Thank you lord you use our personality and add your gifts for the perfection of your will.
