The Application Has Quit

“I call on you, O God, for you will answer me;
       give ear to me and hear my prayer” (Psalm 17:6).

It was getting very frustrating. Every couple of minutes, while Becky was trying to work on her email, the computer would freeze up. Then a message said, “The application has quit.??? Her tension mounted… Until Becky realized: Her relationship with God was NOTHING like the computer program, and she was glad!

Sending an email depends on the internet connection, complicated software and millions of tiny digital signals working right. But connecting with God may be the simplest action we can take! Getting a message to Him depends on the simple act of pausing to take time to communicate with God.

Friend, I’m so glad… God is not technologically dependent! You can talk with Him anytime. He’s always ready and waiting to hear your prayer. Take a moment to spend time with God today.

    What a beautiful thought ! To think that communication with God is always open. We can send him a message from anywhere we are and at anytime. I was recently in a foreign country and I was struck by the thought that God is everywhere and available to all people. He even knows our minds and our hearts when we don’t know what we want to communicate! Holy Spirit teach me what I need to communicate with God.
