Marci was dissatisfied with her walk with God. Her “spiritual fruit” looked very “raisin-like.” She talked with her Heavenly Father only when convenient or in church. And her Bible rarely opened. So Marci created a 28-day spiritual plan to draw closer to God. After those four weeks, she saw God move in her life like never before!
It goes like this: First, choose an achievable goal. Wake up 15 minutes earlier and pray. Read a chapter or two of the Bible daily.
Begin a diary to view your progress. Lastly, tell a friend and be accountable to her. She, too, may wish to join you!
Friend, create your own plan… but begin today! Like Marci, you’ll see God moving in your life in a new and mighty way. You’ll be amazed at the fruit in your life!
Quote of the day
“Be intentional about surrounding yourself with friends who are truly friends and not ones who actually tear you down all in the name of fun.” Click to read the whole article: http://christianwomentoday.com/womenmen/friendreflect.html

I start today…
I think this is an awesome first day of joining for me. I read the Bible and journal every day – at times miss a day. However, I have difficulty with my prayers. I don’t spend enough time or special time with God just talking and listening to Him. This is what I want to develop. So I am going to start this 28 day plan today. Give God my time alone in prayer, I want to learn prayer with Him.
What a great God we serve. He is so patient with us. To be able to spend time time with him is such a special thing. It is such a calming thing. It is his love that gives us peace and happiness. Thank you so much for this 28 day plan.
God waits…patiently, for us to “sit” at HIS feet…simply to listen. You see…it is not about us…it is about HIM. He has so much He desires to share with us…but, we must “Be still and know….” God bless you richly as you quietly come unto HIM…
This is an excellent devotional message. We all at some point or another need to be reminded that we need to make daily time with God a priority. Until a few months ago I was guilty of rarely opening my bible and only praying when times were tough. Then I became faced with the possibility of some difficult times ahead. I was pregnant with my second child. I had suffered a long time with depression after the birth of my first child and knew that the only thing that would really help me through if this were to happen again was to relie on God. It took years of going to God after things had become difficult to make me realize that I should be going to Him before they become difficult. What a difference in my life since I have tried to make God a daily priority in my life. The days that I spend time with God always seem better then the ones that I don’t. God always puts it on my heart to spend time with Him before I spend time doing anything thing else for myself. Although after experiencing the Joy and peace in my life from spending time with God I can say it is my favorite thing that I do for myself. So I urge everyone to try and spend time with God daily , you will experience more Joy, more peace, and more love.
Have a blessed day everyone!
The message today was a confirmation of what the Lord put on my heart and mind today. Prayer came on my mind and decided that I was going to go in my closet today and just pray before I leave the house. I plan to begin this 28 Day process for myself as well. Thank you so much for sharing this divine inpired plan with us today.
I feel that this was truly God inspired for me to read this today. I have been feeling the same way. I know that there is so much more to experience in God and I determined to allow Him to work in and through my life this year. Thank you for sharing this plan with us.
Chris, I, too, plan to activate this prayer plan as part of my prayer ministry . . . have seen God work through prayers of our group . . . and already have a Bible study plan in
action . . . but plan to concentrate an extra 15 minutes on this plan . . . praise God for all the answers to prayer and for His answer to this one. Annie
This chellenge is something I am going to try. I am upto it and will work with GOD to get through it.
