The Big C Word
by Vonette Bright
Janet Thompson led groups of women and spoke at conferences. As she did, she was haunted by the fact that one in seven women in the room would contract breast cancer. Janet would squeak out a little prayer, “Lord, please don’t let it be me.”
But then, it WAS her. Cancer was confirmed. And Janet realized every time she had cried “don’t let it be me” it was as if God answered, “Why NOT you?” She now understood He had a purpose and plan for her breast cancer. God is using her story to reach out and comfort women who are undergoing similar trials.
Friend, God has a purpose for whatever you’re experiencing. Let Him use you in someone’s life. The Bible says to comfort those who need comforting… and that means you!
Quote of the Day
“I truly believe that [God] didn’t give me cancer. I live on earth where there is disease and death; I don’t expect it to be any different until I get to heaven. What God did in fact give me was a real sense of peace.” Click to read the whole article: http://retirementwithapurpose.com/health/dianewillis.html

Nothing happens by chance with God. We had a beauty queen by the name of Rio Diaz Cojuangco. She got married to Charlie and had two beuatiful children and then she cancer. She went on remission and she would get me from my house and we would do hospital visitation at the cancer ward and we would have a chareokee and she would share the love of Jesus. I would ask them to join me in prayer of acceptance to make Jesus as their Lord and Savior and ask God to comfort them and heal them. Then we would go from one bed after the other talking with them and listening to each one of them. God’s ways and thoughts are always higher and always perfect. May the God whom we serve grant us all abounding grace ,mercy and compassion that He may give us a healthy attitude amidst all circumdatnces that we may be able to overcome as He did .All glory to God. Our future has been written in the palm of our hand. He knows all things and by Him, through Him and in Him we will exist and to one appointed once to die.May we have the anointing to do His will moment by moment.
We never know what God has up His sleeve, do we.
I waited 5 years prior to marry again 1991.5 days later
my 2nd husband began with chronic symptoms due to Diabtes.
The 1ft year diagnosed with Sleep Apnia, stopped breathing
154 times in an 8 hour period. We got that taken care of
Praise God! Then April of that year he was diagnosed with
25% left of his Kidneys … Boy was I mad at God! I wanted
to run, But God said… Why not you? Remember, how your
1st husband abandoned you … Now what do the marriage vows
say … in Sickness and in health … I found Peace.
We saw over 50 Doctors and lived in 5 different Hospitals.
I was not ony his wife, but his adnocate as well. Unfortunately, hospital care is not what it should be these
days… We need to protect our loved ones.
Although, disabled, he found time to be unfaithful
through the internet, and invited woman into our home
while I was working the evening shift to provide him with
secondary Insurance for his diabetic supplies.
I know this was God that night sending me home early.
to get changed and go back to work. Instead, I saw one
of the woman coming out of my bathroom… Again the Lord
spoke to me and said “You will not divorce this man …
you will seperate, but not Divorce. I did what the Spirit
of the Lord said. Although, my husband was in deniel.
The thursday before his heart attack, ed, my husband called me on the phone and asked if I would come and pick up
the picture I wanted, But the Lord had other plans in mind… Ed, sat me down and genuinely asked for my forgiveness for everything he had done to me, then gave me
a hug. The Lord intervened, before Ed’s death, and in the
11th hour my husband received Jesus Christ as his Lord and
Savior. He made his peace with God. Ed was 49, Oct.19th1998
Imagine if the Lord showed us everything in advance.
Believe, trust, and obey. Thank you Jesus!
I’ve been a widow going on 9 years …
God Bless, I know Jesus love you and so do I
Marita
As Chris has said it is easy to blame God when things go wrong. I was abbused as a child by my brother and God has used me to talk to other people in the same situation. I have forgiven my brother , but this does not mean I forget. I now love my brother. It is not for me to not forgive or love. God loves me inspite of all my wrongs.
I find that sometimes it is so easy to blame GOD for what is happening to me here on earth but I know it isn’t is fault. then I just pray that whatever happens, no matter the out come that it is his will being done and things become just a bit more bareable for me, GOD sees all and knows all abour each and everyone of us and he will be there for us no matter what. I THANK GOD for being there for me in the good times and the bad.
