A horrifying shooting people need to talk about

Written by Leah

People across the nation are trying to make sense of this horrific and senseless act where 33 students have been killed by a distressed and struggling loner. As we try to make sense of this crisis, we need to talk about it.

Thelife.com is a safe place where you can come and talk about your pain. You can chat, talk with a mentor or comment on our blog. You can share this as a resource to those who are asking you questions about this week’s shooting.

When a crisis like this happens people are consumed by fear and anxiety. It is our desire to meet people in this time of need and to come alongside them. We have mentors who want to pray for, encourage and provide resources to those in need.

Fear can grip in a way that nothing else can. It has the ability to hold you captive in your home, to hinder your relationships and to control everything you do with a blanket of fear. These anxieties are real, but can be overcome.

You don’t have to be alone. We care.
