Victim or Victor?

The Bible says, “Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him” (Jeremiah 17:17). Pat meditated on that passage as she prepared for hours of doctoral exams. During her exams she found herself in extreme pain. Gall bladder disease was diagnosed and surgery was scheduled.

During her hospital stay, she realized this: She could either be a VICTIM of her circumstances or a VICTOR over them. Pat continued to study God’s Word for spiritual vitality. God reminded her she could be a VICTOR. Focusing on that dramatically impacted the outcome of her exams. She completed them on time and now is “Dr.” Pat Ennis*.

Dear one, tough times may come; physical challenges may take you down. But with the LORD’s strength, you can be a VICTOR!

“The JOY of the Lord is my Strength”, Nehemiah 8:10…Pearls of wisdom and no matter how we are bombarded in this earthen walk…That JOY truly becomes our strength…We know that we are never alone, that we are healed no matter how things “appear”, sometimes…and that HIS Love enfolds us during every challenge! God bless and keep all going through challenges this day..and may HOPE reign!

No matter how much pain from arthritis I am in I know GOD is there with me. This is what keeps me going. I have said to people”I can give up, I have to keep going”. That is GOD talking. I know when I am in that much pain he is there carring me just like in
“FOOTPRINTS”. I know there are others who are far worse off then I am and they can get through each day with GODS help just like me
