Only Paris and God know if she has found Him. I hope she realizes that finding God means that everything in life will be better. And in some ways it may be harder-getting made fun of for it, losing friends who are not Christians, and people always doubting her faith. Even as a Christian, your faith is going to be tested there will be times when it is strong and times when it is weak. Even as a Christian, we continue to sin, and of course Paris’ sins will be on public display to say “she found God, yeah right.” She needs a community of believers who will help her on her walk with God and be there for her even if she messes up (we all need that). I pray for her and all of these young rich and famous people who have everything handed to them and often do not face the consequences of their actions. We create these people and then love to watch them fall. And they have no faith to fall back on. Only time will tell if Paris is true about her new found faith.

I meant “I hope she realizes that finding God means that everything in life will NOT be better.”
You are so right Kristie. Following Jesus does not mean that our lives will be filled with daisies and roses. It is so easy to say that we love God in difficult times because we are so desperate…but totally another thing to continue to love and serve Him when times get better. But we are blessed to serve a God who loves us in good times and bad times and who will love us and be there for us no matter how fickle we are.
[...] at talk.thelife.com, we’re asking Paris Hilton which God she found while in jail. We’re not asking sarcastically, we truly want to [...]

It will be immature, childish ,scandalous, embarrassing and malicious to denounce the new life of Paris. As a celebrity,Paris may not have been given time to live her life to her liking.Someone through underhand dealings is in charge of that blonde. That she spend 23 days of introspection, self evaluation and meditation far from the madding crowd may have had brought her closer to God .After all like a world acclaimed celeb she is,she would have taken those hellish days to reprioritise her life for God. A gaol is not the best of places to patronise for a rich burger like her so God might have knocked at her door of spirituality during that time.Take her as one of God’s new daughters who will teach the world’s wicked gangsters and mafias that it does not pay to commit crimes. She should have learnt her lessons during that time. But God never condemned her.She occupys a special place in God’s kingdom. She will too continue to dazzle the world with her acting abilities. As a reminder, stop judging others as you will be judged harsherly and without remorse, fear or favor.
God loves that brunette.

I am not denouncing Paris and her new life. I am just saying being a Christian is not always easy and I hope she has people to tell her that. I have not passed judgement on her, and when I clearly stated that “Only Paris and God know if she has found Him” I hope I made that obvious. And being that she is Paris Hilton, everyone is waiting for her to screw up and say “see, I told you she hasn’t changed.” That is not denunciation, it’s what is going to happen.
These are interesting things to discuss Jmuch and Kristie. Whether Paris has found God or not, we will never know for sure. But it is for certain that Paris will continue to be criticized by the public no matter what she does. I’m sure many people would like Paris to mess up so that they can say “See, Paris didn’t really find God!”
But I hope Paris proves them WRONG! Do you believe that’s possible? Can people really change that quickly?
