**Are you are hurting from the pain of having lost someone you love? If you are facing a difficult time in your life we would love the opportunity to pray for you. http://thelife.com/interactive/share.html
Five-year-old Tommy was deathly afraid. Once again, he had witnessed his drunken father beat his mother. Just like many times before. Now, she was headed out the door to escape abuse. Tommy ran to catch up to his mother and they left the abusive situation together.
Tommy’s mother wasn’t sure she could rear the boy on her own. So she turned to God for support. And He answered! Tommy watched his mother’s faith in God. In the fiery trials of those difficult days without a father, Tommy’s character was forged. He matured into a man of integrity and eventually became a pastor.
Oh yes, a godly home is most likely to produce children of character. And you can do it, even if you’re a single parent. Dear one, you’re not alone when you trust God for your child’s future.

VONETTE
THANK YOU FOR THIS DEVOTIONAL. THERE IS SO MUCH ABUSE GOING ON IN THIS WORLD. I MYSELF HAVE BEEN ON THE RECEIVING END OF SUCH ABUSE PHYSITIALLY, MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. BY MOST OF THE GUYS I HAVE BEEN WITH IN THE LAST 32 YEARS.
AFTER THE LAST RELATIONSHIP, I KNEW I HAD TO START LISTENING TO THAT SMALL VOICE IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD TELLING THE GOOD FROM THE BAD. I CALL IT MY GUT FEELING. IF I JUST LISTEN TO THAT FEELING.
IN THE LAST 12 YEARS, I HAVEN’T BEEN INVOLVED WITH ANYONE OUT OF CHOISE. I DECIDED TO TURN MY GUT OVER TO GOD AND LET HIM FIND ONE FOR ONE. BUT I DO KNOW MY SELF ESTEEM IS BETTER AND I KNOW I AM A GOOD PERSON AND NO ONE BUT NO ONE IS GOD
Dear Chris..
You “are” a good and worthy person! And, a daughter of our King!! Your testimony here will help others to step out of and away from abusive relationships and into the Lord’s covering! Bless you for sharing.
I’ve not gone through this kind of experience spoken of in the devotional and shared by our dear sister Chris..But, my heart goes out to those that have..And, wasn’t it a beautiful ending in Vonette’s sharing..That young son became a Pastor..to help others avoid what his Mom went through. Our Lord uses every circumstance to ultimate GOOD!
Chris, HE will meet your needs, too..For you are following His Voice..that still small voice our Lord! We will all pray for miraculous Provision from North, South, East and West..that His Angels will gather just what you need..HE takes care of his devoted daughters!!! Amen!
Losing loved ones has been the one of the hardest things for me to deal, particularly the loss of my mother. Tho we didn’t have a close relationship growing up, we did the last two years of her life…and I so cherish those years…..even tho I have regrets in not spending enough time with her.
I have carried much guilt in feeling some responsibility concerning her death….as she came thru the heart surgery well. I noticed things that weren’t right….tried to talk to the nurses, but never felt listened. I am haunted almost daily with mother calling me to her bed and asking me to help her. If I had it to do over, I would have acted differently….I would have demanded things be tested even if I had caused a scene. Twenty three days later, she died of an infection….something that if I had been more vocal, would never have happened.
It has been 5 years and even so, her face asking me to help her is one of the last things, I many times see before falling off to sleep.
I know I need grief counseling…as my doctor as suggested….just know know where to get it.
For a long time and maybe it is true, I have thought of life as a series of losses….but thankfully, I do have good memories to hang onto………

YES THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL ENDING TO VONETTE’S SHARING.
I KNOW GOD WILL GUIDE ME IN WHAT HE WANTS ME TO DO AND IN FINDING A MATE, WE JUST DON’T ALWAYS WANT TO WAIT FOR GOD TO LEAD US.
I KEEP TRYING THOUGH.
GOD BLESS
DEAR FRIEND FRAN
Thank you, dear Chris…And HE is working on your wonderful outcome, too! Am convinced of that…
Patti, please don’t be hard on yourself about your Mom..Am convinced there’s a “time” the Lord ordains for us to go home and HE will protect us until that hour is at hand. My beloved sister did the same thing you are doing and thought “If I’d done this” or “done that”..But our beloved Father would have gone right at that appointed hour! Grief counseling may help, though! The enemy tries to use things like this to torment us..But, the way you are? We can “see” a loving daughter..no matter what you thought at that time! Talking it out with unbiased counselors does help, though! My sister did that, too! We all lift you and believe for you in this matter!!!
Dear Ladies,
I just received a call from Linda and she is in incredible pain….she could hardly talk. Please let’s all pray for her right now, that God would touch her body and lift that pain.
Father God, our dear friend Linda is experiencing pain that most of us cannot conceive. God we come to you….lifting Linda up to your Throne Room, asking for your loving mercy. Reach down, Lord and touch her body form her head to the very souls of her feet….give her relief…..have mercy on her this very moment.
Lord we don’t understand why some of your saints suffer so…and Lord no man can help her right now…we need your divine intervention. Oh God……please touch your precious daughter. We know you love her and grieve when you see her in pain like this.
OH God….we are crying out for your touch…your loving and merciful touch, to relieve…to take away this horrible pain ..this agony, Lord. Take it now Lord….
You are a God of mercy…of love and of miracles. We are asking for a miracle for her right now….in faith and give you all the Praise and Glory.
We ask this in your precious name…..Jesus….believing that you will answer our prayers.
Lord Jesus, come to Linda’s bedside this night and touch her with Your mighty healing hand! Show Your mercy on our dear sister Linda, and lift this added burden of pain that has racked her ailing body these last couple of days. Father God, You created her body, and it’s intricate nervous system, and I ask that, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, You intercept the pain signals being transmitted to her brain, and override Your creation! Be her circuit breaker, Lord! Please come quickly, as she suffers greatly! Thank you, that we can lift her up to You, knowing that she is safe under Your watchful care! In the most precious name of Jesus, Amen!
we are never alone for He is always with us . i am much in prayer for linda r and hope today she is much better
