God’s Warriors

Recently CNN showed an encore of their three-night special report by Christiane Amanpour called God’s Warriors. Originally aired in August, this documentary explored the Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths – focusing on their impact on politics, environmental issues, conflict and future generations, the consequences of extremism and the importance of Jerusalem.

Those practicing any of the three faiths who watched this report were no doubt faced with tough questions about their own faith and a new understanding of the others. Maybe you watched the report, or have checked out the video clips on the CNN site and it has brought up questions for you too.

One thing was clear as I listened to Amanpour speaking with people around the world: faith in God – our own or someone else’s – has an impact on the world.
