This is an awesome name of Yours, El-Elyon, the Most High God.
You are the God who reigns. You are the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were!
Angels do your bidding; mountains melt like wax before You. You are the King over all things in my life today. Nothing is too hard for You.
Wow! What a thought! Today I pray that You will call into being the things in our lives that You want to put there. Where there is weariness, call strength into being. .. where there is discouragement call hope into being. Where there is a drying up, call life into being.

Are you still growing spiritually?: Check your compass and let God lead you
You know me better than I know myself, Lord. Call into being what You know I need today.
Thank you that You send Your angels to do Your bidding and that Your word promises they camp around those who fear You. Let me see the campfires today as Your angels are sent to camp around me.
May I feel Your presence and holiness in a profound way today. May I draw strength and confidence from the promise of Your word that You will “call things that are not as though they were”. Thank you Lord.
I pray this in the name of Jesus, amen!

I hope you have found God Most High (N.I.V.) or Most High God (K.J.V.) in the Bible, but if not it is found in Genesis 14:18.
As Judy has said El-Elyon is taken from the original Hebrew.
Thanks Gail for today’s devotional. I have felt the pre-
sence of God in a strong way in differnt ways. I have been
counseling with some young lady about God’s truths, allowing
the Holy Spirit to have it’s way, when I have experience the
presence of God so strong that it has brought tears to my
eyes and theone Iam counseling. Then there has been times
when I have felted drawned into worship, praise and fellow-
ship with God that leads me to getting so caught up in the
spirit, during this time Iam able to feel the presence of
God so strong. One morning I was just lying in bed, thinking
on the Lord and just meditating on him, when I felt his
presence, it was so loving and gentle, like he was hugging
me, I quickly pulled the cover over my head, trying to per-
serve that moment. Getting to know God for who he is cause
us to grow, increase in our knowledge of him. This will then
increase our trust, confidence, faith, in him which will
help us to live a life of a victorious overcomer Christian.
Ladies have a blessed and rejoicing day in the Lord.
Praise the lord he is always with us and helps us in all things great and small. I pray when we read the bible we will know his ways and aply them to our lives. Greater is he that is in us then he that is in the world.

Gail listed the website in the first name of God, His characteristics, and how to pray. I went to the website and printed it out. It is 10 pages long. I keep it next to my keyboard and have used it to pray and encourage others and it has been a blessing to them. Thank you, Gail, for these devotionals and the info about the website. It truly has been a wonderful and informative blessing to me and to others I have shared it with.

Go and read it! It is wonderful. It is a reminder that when we have a feeling, a “prompting”, we need to be obedient. Even putting chicken soup envelope in a get well card. That was wonderful!

I truly believe God’s presence in a strong way is by allowing the Holy Spirit to live in & Through us each & everyday. Also to see God’s miracles in our lives & the lives of others. When I first became sick Fran prayed that someone would bring over some chicken soup. Well no one did & to be honest I really didn’t even feel like any. Then this past Sunday I was just craving chicken soup but Terry just didn’t feel well enough to go to the store & buy some, but he did walk out & get our Fridays mail. Guess What??? A longtime out of town friend sent us a get well card with a package of Liptons Chicken Noodle Soup! PTL God still answers Prayers in His Timing. Things in life that build up our confidence in God are, being available to be used of God in any situation big or small behind the scene. The more we try to live like Jesus lived, be, act & react how he would, draws us closer to him. Have A Wonderful Day! Hugs, Linda!

As I was reading and praying this prayer, the Sun started to shine and came streaming into the windows. I felt closer to God as He filled me with the joy of being one of his sheep. He is the great Shepherd and will always guide me, even when I stray.
Praise the Lord for all He does for us!
