** Our human mind simply cannot comprehend who God really is. Who is He to you? http://thelife.com/study/charactergod.html
“Oh LORD God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O LORD,and your faithfulness surrounds you” (Psalm 89:7).
~Oh Father in Heaven,
Today I stand amazed in Your presence. The God of Glory, the Great God, the God of gods and Lord of lords; You are glorious! You are above all things! From You and through You and to You are all things! Your kingdom and power and glory will last forever.
What an amazing picture Lord! What assurance it gives my soul to know that the glory of all You are can impact my day today. Thank you that You are willing to bring Your power and glory into my life today. I abandon my heart and mind to You. I willingly bring myself under the power of Your holiness and Your love. Like an umbrella over me Your majesty rests over my life.
Thank you that You are wonderful in counsel, magnificent in wisdom and perfect in knowledge.
I trust Your infinite understanding and Your excellent greatness and I thank you for Your divine power that is at work in my life today.
May Your kingdom be established in all I do today and may I live for Your kingdom and for Your glory as I walk the path today where You have placed me.
Thank you that You are majestic in power and infinite in understanding and You alone can equip me for the tasks that lay before me.
To You be praise and honor and glory. In the strong name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Dear Margaret, I feel so bad especially that I never noticed your request for prayer on Thursday asking that God would help you to be real with those whom you trust that you are grieving right now over the loss of your mother’s death of which I believe you mentioned the Anniversary Date was May 12th. Margaret it is sometime hard to let people know or maybe better yet said for people to understand as lots of people just want you to get over it and move on with your life. Well as you know it is not that easy and we all grieve differently, some days you will think you have moved on and everything seems to be going along really well and then from just out of nowhere it just comes flooding right back as if it just happened yesterday. I lost my 15 1/2 yr old teenage daughter 21 1/2 yrs ago and you know I still miss her terrible, I know she is with Jesus, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it was her time to go but Margaret it still hurts & it still hurts today. Unfortunately for me I didn’t even have family that stood by me on those anniversary dates they just didn’t talk about her not then or ever and oh how that hurt so much, so I just had to give it all over to Jesus. With God & my husbands help on each occasion birthdays, Christmas, Births of her nephews, & the anniversary date of her death I somehow make it through but it still hurts. So I guess what I am saying is don’t put a limit on yourself as far as your grieving goes but always remember Jesus is with you & I have you in my prayer book so I will be praying for you as the day arrives closer and that your friends & loved ones will be very sensitive to you & your needs at this special time of the year! Also Margaret I am continuing to pray about your knees that you will continue to day by day have more & more strength in them, For Oh What A Mighty God We Serve!!! Hugs, Linda!!!
Congratulations Andi! I sense your excitement and joy and pray that you have a delightful time this week as you get to know this new addition to your family. Bless you and your family….
Andi, Congratulations!!! Don’t know if this is your first Grandchild or not but if it is Your will LOVE being a Grama (*_*) There are no sweeter words to my ears than hearing that sweet little voice of my grandson say “Grama” and those “Kisses” Oh how precious! So Have Fun & May The Lord Richly Bless You & Your Husband as Grandparents & Your Daughter & Son-In-Law as Parents! Hugs Linda!!!
Congratulations, Gramma Andi! Or will it be Nana? Anyway, enjoy this beautiful blessing from the Lord. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
Greetings dear friends,
Just a quick note to share that our daughter, Sarah, has just given birth this morning to a little girl. Her name is Taylor. I want to let you know as I may be off line for a few days but wanted to share our joy of Taylor’s safe arrival almost 2 weeks early! Many blessings already prayed over this new young life; but if HE leads we’ll joyously receive! xoxoxo

Father, God I come to you in prayer at this moment for Sharon’s sister-in-law. Father, you know her condition and have control over it. Lord, merciful God, I pray that you would touch her with your healing power and might her doctors have the wisdom to know how to help her. Lord might she know that you are working in her life and be comforted by that. I pray that you will look after the rest of the family also. Please draw each of them to yourself so that they would know your love, comfort and peace during this time. In His glorious and precious name. Amen.
Margaret- I recently lost a friend near to me and can’t get over how often I think about him. The grieving process takes so log even when we have a good foundation in the Lord and the assurance that our loved on is now in His Glory. Each time I find tears in my eyes (and heart) i think, “I should be done with this by now”. As the days and weeks and months go by, it has gotten easier and I can now drive past the place on the highway where his car was struck by another and not even remember that I’m mourning his loss.
God is big enough to heal the broken hearted! I’m beliebving it for you too! Amen!
PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR TAKING SO LONG IN READING THIS DEVOTIONAL I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING ALL DAY. IT IS A WONDERFUL ONE
forgot to click the box to know when you W.C.W [Wonderful Company of Women] make new comments.
Want to read and hear everyone’s comments as this has struck me in such a powerful way today!
So bring on your answer’s to Gail’s question and we’ll keep blessing each other!
How Big? My God is the Creator of everything
My walk w/HIM right now? Walking by faith, hope and trust in all of HIS promises and praising HIM no matter what is going on
How can I be assured that God loves me?
HE sent Christ to die that we might live.
HIS word tells me so. HE even tells me in HIS quiet voice.
HE whispers words of love to me aswell as correction to encourage me in our relationship.
I am not the hard hearted, broken hurting person I was over 30 years ago. HE has changed me and continues to change me! “From glory to glory HE’s changing me, HIS likeness and image to perfect in me. Jesus is changing is me.” [words from an old song!]
I can’t wait to hear more answers to these questions from y’all! LOL
& saying, Thank YOU Jesus!
This devotional stopped me in my tracks today as well. Exactly what I needed to hear and be reminded of.
Thanks for the song Romel
Sharon I am praying for your sister-in-law. I also have lung issues so I will lift her up until I hear other news.
Every breath I take is a gift from God. The song, “He is the air I breath,” is very special to me. I will sing it for her as well.
May HE be at her bedside comforting her and may she know HIS presence w/her!
have a great holiday Patricia!
Patti, still praying!
Christ is my All in All. HE is my everything. I live for HIS honour and glory alone.
Sharon, we stand in prayer with you for peace for your family, for comfort for your family member – wisdom in treatment -that the doctors and caregivers will be guided by God’s hand in all matters – and I stand in agreement that God’s love will surround you and your family at this time. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Dear Heavenly Father I just bring Sharon’s Sister-in-law to You, Lord I ask that You would reach out right now and Minister Your Healing Hand to her, just touch her body Lord Jesus, give the doctors wisdom on how to treat her, give her comfort, peace and surround her tightly with Your Arms Of Love dear Lord. Also Jesus just be with Bill, Sharon and the rest of her family comfort them at this time, please let them know that You are in control and just give them peace too. I pray all these things In Your Holy Name Amen! Hugs Linda!!!
Sharon, I wanted you to know I just prayed for your sister-in-law…for her health, for the doctors, and for a support person(s) to be there with her. It is difficult when loved ones are sick and live so far away. I know. My elderly parents are 5 hours away and our children and grandkids are 2 1/2 hours away. Love & Prayers, Judy
A great devotional. How big is my God. He is able to meet my every need. He answers when I ask him a question and I know he cares for me. Lately I have been wondering about things and asking God. The answers don’t come right away but he answers me. Through God’s word and through the ministery of others he shows me he loves me. Pray that the Lord will show me how to grieve and not let it interfere with day to day living! Pray that I will be real with those i trust that I am grieving. Thanks everyone. I think sometimes this isn’t a big deal when others having other things more presssing than me. I am thankful for a Christian family and a good childhood. I had hurts but I never had any of the troubles others have had.
i would like to request prayer for my husbands oldest sister. she is vey sick and in the hospital in icu. she has a pasemaker also she has copd and is not doing to well. she lives about 4 hours away from us if you would please pray for her health.

Excellent Devotional Gail as always! Wonderful comments too! I would describe my walk with God like Paul did which was Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” My assurance that Jesus Loves me comes from His word just like the children’s song we used to sing “Jesus Loves Me” & the Peace That Passeth All Understand that God Gives Us & Knowing He Said “Nothing Can Separate You From The Love Of God” & He is The Same Yesterday, Today & Forever! Hugs, Linda!!!
Amen!! to what you wrote about our God. . . my God.
Gail you wrote:
“Thank you that You are willing to bring Your power and glory into my life today.” Yes, thank you Lord. As Mighty as You are, you still are available to me and love me.
I do pray “May Your kingdom be established in all I do today and may I live for Your kingdom and for Your glory as I walk the path today where You have placed me”.
Thank you, Gail.
Yes, that was a beautiful song, Romel. Truly prayer and praise change things powerully in our lives. God knows our hearts, and desires fellowship with us…daily….constantly. He is our source.
peace.
Gail what a great reminder of His Awesomeness! I read my devotional when I get to work and often there are other things on my mind when I do it. Today your words stopped me dead in my tracks as I picture His Glory surrounding me. I am in the presence of Almighty God!
I so enjoy the thought of Jesus my friend who is closer than a brother. He accompanies me whatever I am doing, but to stop and admire the Majesty of God the Father is a breathtaking experience that helps me to escape the reality and sometimes gravity of daily life. How wonderful it is to sit at the foot of the throne and worship the Almighty!
Sorry, planned to say two week vacation!!
Thank you for that beautiful song Romel.
As we see God’s glory and His Goodness as one, what a joy to dwell in the centre of that glory and goodness.
And what an awesome wonder that we can share in that glory through His life in us through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:17
Have a wonderful day! I am about to run out the door for a two day vacation, but will try to access the net once in a while to see what everyone has to say.
In His love
Patricia
We bless God himself by being joyful because He lives in us, when we radiate the peace and joy within others see His glory. Many are hurtig today all over the world, with the economy in a mess many are having to make hard choices. I pray for everyone dealing with hard choices today. Our God is Big like Gail stated in her devotional. How Big is he? Big enough to handle whatever you are going through today. We don’t always look at something we sit on and wonder if it can hold us, we simply just sit down most of the time, trust God the same way, allow him to hold you and let it go and trust. He can do mighty things, Faith of a mustard seed can move mountains. Blessings today Friends. Thanks Romel for praying for my church, that meant so much………
To me He has become everything. The sun the moon and everything in between. I have just started working on my relationship with God, and am amazed at what I am finding out!
Singing a song for YOU my LORD.
YOU’re the love of my life
YOU’re the joy of my morning
YOU’re the song of my heart
And I will praise YOUR holy name
Singing I love YOU LORD
Singing I love YOU LORD
Singing I love LORD,
LORD, I love YOU
Thanks Gail R for such an awesome Devotional. May I quote a part of what you posted?
“Today I stand amazed in Your presence. The God of Glory, the Great God, the God of gods and Lord of lords; You are glorious! You are above all things! From You and through You and to You are all things! Your kingdom and power and glory will last forever.”
Yes, O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of GOD! How unsearchable are HIS judgments and HIS ways are past finding out!
For who hath known the mind of our LORD or who has been HIS counsellor? Or who hath first given HIM and it shall be recompensed to him again?
For of HIM and through HIM and to HIM, are all things: to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen. Romans 11:33-36
Yes, let all that hath breath praise the LORD. I worship YOU LORD with my whole heart and my whole being. Amen
