Yet it is far from right to suggest that God does not intend to give His Children comfort! What is the ultimate goal of character development? The ultimate of it all is to spend eternity with God in the comfort of His Kingdom and not in hell! through troubles we are indeed molded to be more like Christ Jesus, my Lord and Saviour, yet Christianity is not living a less comfortable life. If that is all God has to offer; pain, trouble, etc who would have followed Him. yet He has through the course of history proven proved He want our good now and in eternity also. Christ worked it our hence we live on His finished work. Yes Christians should not live a lie that earth will be heaven but it is not like God to not even on earth prove though the lives of Christian that He has a better inheritance for us!
