Although for the most part we are free from religious persecution in North America, sadly in many other countries around the world that is not the case.
Voices of the Martyrs is one organization which tracks persecution around the globe. Recently, over 70,000 people were displaced due to their religion and are now forced to live in refugee camps. Incidents like these recent events in India are sober reminders that persecution still exists in the world.
