Thank you, Gail, for this wonderful template for prayer! Praying the Scriptures is a powerful means of infusing our minds and hearts with God’s truth and His promises! So often we do pray for things that we want, disregarding what God may want, then wondering why He “doesn’t answer my prayers!” God is so good, and He knows what we truly need, and He is faithful to benefit us always! When our prayers are focused on kingdom values, and our hearts are drawn to worship God, He promises to meet our needs, according to His riches in glory! (Matt. 6:5-33) As our hearts are transformed towards Christ-likeness, our prayers become more aligned with God’s kingdom agenda and His economy.
