muriel, thank you for this devotional. as I grow spiritually, there isn't one particular situation where I find I need to thank the Lord for His mercy and grace as every waking moment is reason to give thanks. each day when I wake it is a natural thing now to say thank you to the Lord before my feet even hit the floor. if the clouds are grey and it's pouring rain, it's a beautiful day because He created it. the day's of shackles are gone.
as I read Philippians 4:4, I continued on because of the serenity I felt. so I continued on. Philippians 4:9 reads:''Whatever you have learned or received or herd from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.'' peace and serenity is the victory.

I hate conflicts. In many aspects of my life, I am forced to deal with them and i'm getting a bit depressed.

I prayed to God to help me see what's the next step in all this turmoil that I find hard to cope with and i'm putting into His hand.

As I read your devotional, I say thank You. I'm going to the office's bathroom in a couple of minutes to say thanks to him.

Thank you, Muriel, for this devotional & reminder to be thankful. It's so easy to get caught-up in the things of this world & the materialism. Thanks for reminding us to stop (esp. during these times) & just try to remember God & be thankful. May I do so! God bless.
