This must be the 4th time I read your piece and I completely agree with you. To deny self is not easy because of pride. We think that we can do things well on our own because we regard highly our rich life experiences, educational background, or status in society. But even all these comes from God. That's why he wants us to deny ourselves so that we focus on Him as the ultimate source and purpose. I am so blessed with your insight.
