You ladies are victorious in your walk as you are all trying to hit the default button of life. High five to you as you begin each day and then rest your head at night. Linda, what you said; ”you are not alone”—I’d heard it say many times before. today i not only hear it in my heart, I feel it, I believe it. No, I am not alone–anymore!
I choose the default button as I had worn out the panic button. Praise be to God.

Thanks for the devotional! I went to put on a comment about buttons and the hydro went out! I thank the Lord for his help when I want to push the panic button!

You are not alone. We all face ‘life’ with its frustrations despite our trying so hard to work at doing our best. I am so thankful for our Default Button that is so happy to help us process our life. Wow. This sure took me back. I came home from work today, very frustrated with circumstances at work and ready to give someone a piece of my mind and maybe even quit. But I tried to gather myself together and get to church, praying all the way to God, trying to make some sense of the day and justifying my own decisions and actions. The frustration of my day continued at rehearsal and I still felt I needed to vent, someone to listen. I needed to hit the reset button, bad.
Thank God that He is our Default button. Oh, how I need Him, for my every thought, for every action, every decision, every response, for everything at all times and all places and all circumstances. This reminder couldn’t have come at a more needful time for me. I praise the Lord for these devotionals, especially tonight.
