I know that I am not alone with God in my life, and as well, I know that I am not alone in the feelings I am experiencing in my spiritual growth either. If I know I'm going to be spending time with those who don't know God, and I don't take the time to arm myself with prayer, scriptures, and God's amazing power, I am likely to sucumb to temptation. Most often it's in the things like movies, music, or laughing at a joke that's offensive that our world doesn't consider to be an issue. But I'm called to a higher calling. I need to prepare my heart before hand so that I may have right responses. I have found that if I am not prepared I’m not likely to take a stand.
