This devotional was very comforting. As to the question: ''in my time of trouble, where do I place my trust''? To the Lord our God is where I place my heart and soul. I tried the 'independent', the "I can do it on my own' life-style and from personal experience I found that 'my way' (without God) brought me nothing but heartache and pain, sorrow, guilt, regret and eventually isolation. Oh, there were happy times but oh so brief. Today I let go and let God and with His strength I receive life 'dependency', which is where I need to be. Yes Sharon, I agree with you.
