The words are a reminder to me that that God has sent me and that the path will not always be glamorous. One stanza in particular depicts God's call on my life moment. It is the 4th stanza: "So send I you to leave your life's ambition, to die to dear desire self-will resign,to labor long and love where men revile you;so send I you to lose your life in mine."
