“When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only” (Matthew 17:8 NKJ).

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”” (John 14:6-7 NIV).

JESUS ONLY is our message.  He, and no-one-else, is the answer for what the world needs today – physically, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, socially, economically, politically, relationally and any other ‘ly.’

He is the theme that needs to be written, declared, lifted up and seen.  He saves, having taken our guilt away replacing it with His righteousness.  He is our strength day in and out.

Jesus only is our sanctifier, cleansing us from self and sin to fill our hearts with all His Spirit’s fullness.  Jesus only is our power.

Jesus is our healer for all our sicknesses.  He is able to infiltrate His healing power into every facet of our being because of his broken body and His risen life and fullness, with those who believe and receive.

It is for Jesus only that we prepare, wait and ready for His return.  He is our glorious Lord and soon coming King. When He comes it will still be Jesus only.

Jesus is our all in all.  He alone reveals the Father.

Questions: Do you know Him as your Savior? Do you know Him as your Sanctifier?  Do you know Him as your Healer?  Do you wait for Him as your coming King? *

    Karen,

God bless you my sister! Now this is a devotional that is right on target. When we realize that it is Jesus Only, it is then we can have peace. Jesus is truly the answer to all of life’s difficulties, for without him, we can do nothing, but with him, we are unstoppable. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Karen, God bless you sister! This post is so right on! I take Jesus to the extreme. He IS the only way not just for salvation, but for our minute by minute days.

If we carefully research the origin of psychology and psychiatry, which was executed by that mastermind of evil Satan, in the Garden of Eden, then we must agree with John 14:6!

Jesus + nothing! The question we must always ask ourselves is, is Jesus being the Creator of all things, sufficient for our every ailment, our every heartache, our every headache, our every loss, our every fear, our every need?

Jesus is always the only way!

  • Thank you Nancy, the typo has been corrected!

  • Nancy says:

Your quote of the NIV version of John 14:6-7 is not what I read in my NIV. Was that your paraphrase of Jesus’ words or a typo? Just wondered. Otherwise it was a great devotional.
    In Him,
    Nancy
