Dealing with the Unexpected
Like many newly married couples, Patrick and Linda looked forward to having children and adding to their family. After two and a half years of trying, the news they longed for finally came – they were having a baby! What should have been a joyful time turned into one of uncertainty and disappointment when their newborn baby was diagnosed with an unexpected condition.
What do you do when your prayers are not answered the way you thought they would be? For Patrick and Linda, a day to day process of acceptance turned into a realization that God’s blessings come in different forms.

God love us so much and God will do His best for us to make a happy living. continue our prayers and thanks giving to God for all the blessing that have even its small or big we should be thanked. sometimes God give us trials to test our faith, sometimes aside from our praying God wants us to serve Him and to go on His way just to make feel more of what life is in His steps, and to be close in Him, a special relationship in Him that we may not be sorry at the end. and all that we encounter today give all to God and He will find the rest of your soul as it like it said Mathew 11:28-30
come all of you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul; for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Dear Linda and Patrick, God bless you for your sharing! Always remember that God, our Lord Almighty will never leave or forsake you. Karina is blessed to have you as parents and in turn you two are blessings to Karina because your love for her is overflowing.
If you ever need anything, just ask. My prayers go with you as you take this parenting journey. Being a parent isn’t easy whether your child is “typical” or not. It takes the Holy Spirit to take over your life in order for you to see the preciousness of everything made by God.
