Summer Ideas for Kids
School’s out and the kids are all at home. If you’re looking for ideas to make summer more enjoyable, don’t miss Michele Borba’s article, “Sanity Savers”. A little prep and a few simple rules can make play dates a treat for everyone – even you!
To begin with, Michelle recommends extra-kid-proofing your house. Chances are good that you’re going to have the neighborhood kids in and out of your place over the summer. While your own children know not to touch Grandma’s teddy bear in the living room, the other kids might not. If it’s special and fragile, move it out of reach until September. A little time now can save a lot of tears later.
