Connecting Through Technology

Written by Tracy

Many of us make use of technology everyday to stay in touch with friends, family and the office. In today’s Street Level video, we asked you: How do you keep digitally connected?

It seems that every other person we pass on the street is either texting, talking on the phone, or checking Facebook.

All this activity seems to suggest that we are more connected to each other than ever, but is the technology actually keeping us from having true connections that come from face to face interaction?

I fall into the gentlemen last category. I just relocated from New York to California and I need some christian women (men can talk too) and brother in Christ to talk to.

  • Technology helps a lot in information dissemination. Many of us make use of technology everyday to stay in touch with friends, family and the office. It seems that every other person we pass on the street is either, texting, talking on the phone, or checking Face book. Apart from face-to-face interaction, there are so many ways of spreading the good news of God’s Kingdom on earth to people using modern technology. One of it is using the Internet.

There are many ways to communicate with others and discuss topical issues about the Kingdom of Jehovah God and His Christ, these may include; online chatting; use of Contact Cards – a card can invite people to visit a website that explain the Everlasting Gospel; the use of emails and email alerts, such email can be passed to someone else; the use of newsletters, in which the enquirers can subscribe to it; the use of Web Site Questionnaire pages for question and answers; the development of a website for posting of evangelistic articles, latest news items, video clips, handouts and musicals; the use of online studies (Bible Courses) and digital ministry (i.e., Online Training for Digital Ministry); the use of blogs, in which bloggers can leave a comment or reply to a Gospel Message. Others include free e-books, free download and study courses.

technology it helps a lot in our daily lives, if you find something for reasearch for school,Gods word, for friends for lives and everything you want to know its here in technology but why God made technology? God made technology for His main purpose to know his knowledge of truth, to know He is that before Abraham I am John 8:58 as it said Romans 11:33-36 on the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God how unsearchable are his judgement and his way past finding out.; for who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who have been his counselor? Or who has first given to him and shall be recmpensed unto Him again Him again? for of Him, and through Him,are all things; to whom be glory forever Amen
for no one know Gods mind and plans; but He made this to let all nations knows we are all His children and to know He is our true Lord God as it like it said Isaiah 46:4 Even your old age and gray hairs I am he . I am He who will sustain you, I made you, I will carry you and I will rescue you How thru His word of salvation for the word is Jesus became flesh to give light to all men but other not own it. but those who will receive in Him and believe in Him as it said in John 1 12-13 but as many as received Him to them gave the power to become the children of God even to them who believe in His name; which were born, not of blood nor the will of the flesh, not the will of man but of God. for God created us in a right time and for its purpose.
