“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty”  (Psalm 91:1).

The Name: Elohim; God, Strong and Faithful, Three in One; Jehovah-Elohim; LORD God

The Only True God, The Only Wise God, The God of all Grace; The God of Hope, John 17:3; Romans. 16:27; 1 Peter 5:10; Romans. 15:13.

Father in Heaven, this morning I thank you that You are the Strong and Faithful One. You alone are the LORD God Almighty. Today I ask that You would be to me just exactly what I need today.

Be to me the God of all Grace who pours Your grace into my heart as I seek to meet the needs of those around me. I need Your grace.

Be my Only Wise God. I need divine wisdom to juggle the many things in my life right now. Help me to trust You as my strong and faithful God in my home and relationships, my finances and my work.

Be to me my God of Hope as I look at this day today and also at the days ahead. In the changes and challenges that come let me find shelter, encompassed by You, The God of Love, The Living God and the Only True God.

Thank you that You are the Three in One, the God head that gives the wisdom and power of the Father, the love and compassion of the Son and the strength and empowerment of the Holy Spirit to me as I need it.

Help me today to feel Your strength and faithfulness is a powerful way and may my heart rest in You alone.

In the powerful name of Jesus I pray, amen.

    Hi Rachel,
I just re-read that beautiful strong prayer by Gail, and then I again read your letter. I also found the country Bhutan (in the Himalaya mountains). My home is in western Canada, in the province of Saskatchewan. Now to your situation:
It is 10 years since God has chosen you. No doubt you have some Christian friends, and hopefully a good church to attend. Do you have a Bible in your heart-language? God speaks to us as we read His word. The Bible is really all one story, yet for a young Christian, it is good to start with the last 1/3 of the book, the New Testament. But you are probably more mature than you say, for in 10 years you have grown to love God more and more. Let’s pray:
Dear heavenly Father, I thank You that You have chosen Rachel to be your child. Thank You for the Holy Spirit helping her to understand the Scriptures. She is special and You have a plan for her life. Thank You for helping her to study the Bible, and thank You for surrounding her with Christian friends. She is richly blessed and is a blessing to others. We pray in the name of Jesus, our intercessor. Amen.
No doubt you are finding more encouragement in this website. Prayerfully yours, Alfred.

Every time I read one of your prayers Gail, I am blessed. Thank you so much. The older I get and that is old, I find a written prayer is so helpful. I don’t know why, but it is good. Love and Thanks and Blessing of all of you Evie.

Love the prayer today. Will be praying for you Barbara. God is able.

  • Barbara says:

The past two days God has proved His faithfullness to me…the other night I weeped, I wanted to give up and die, I asked God to take me home to be with Him…I told Him I was tired, worn-out by going to doctors and having test after test after test with no outcome of what is wrong with my body…The cry was good, the well needed rest that night came and JOY returned in the moring along with new vitality that I had not felt in a longtime…By listing to His Holy Spirit within…I am learing to balnce out my life in order for His works to be done in and through me…He is soooo faithful to those whom dilagently and wholeheartedly seek him…just when I was about to loose all hope…He sweeped down so low to lift me up aonce again…hoping to be able to stay on the path He has lined out for me and not take my own course…nor…crooked way…God Thank You! Your beloved daughter Barbara
