Confident Prayer
Is life overwhelming? We are here to pray for you.
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given you” (John 15:7).
Do you want to pray with confidence? Do you want to know that what you are praying for is the uttering’s of the Spirit of God within you? Worship God; abide in Him. Every moment of your life, give over to Him, surrendering and yielding to His ways and His Will.
Worshipers can pray with confidence. Why? Because they spend time with God, their Father and as a result they know Him with such depth that He shares with them His thoughts.
As we abide in Jesus and recognize that it is because of His blood that was poured upon the cross, we can enter into the throne room of God with grace and know, without a doubt, our prayers are heard. This is because we become aware that it is not by our works that God hears and accepts our prayers, but because our Heavenly Father has made a way through His Son to draw near to Him.
Our expression becomes one of love towards Him, which paves the way through worship to enter into His presence and pray with confidence. The question then remains: How much understanding do you have of the blood of Jesus?
When you have a revelation of what the blood of Jesus has done for you, you will love Him passionately, drawing near to Him with confidence knowing that He hears every word and you can ask Him of anything. The glorious result of abiding in Jesus is that our prayers become aligned with Heaven’s purpose and we begin to pray God’s will rather than our own.
Jesus is our perfect example of what it means to live a life of worship, abiding in the Father (John 14:11). He said that He could do nothing on His own, but only to do the will of His Father and what He saw His Father doing (John 5:19).
Let’s worship God together, dwelling in Him and His presence, allowing His truth to remain in us, for then, nothing will hinder, not fear nor doubt, from knowing with confidence He has heard us.
Questions: How do you pray with confidence? How can you know with confidence that God has heard you?
I just happened to go to a men’s breakfast today and the message was out of 1Peter 3:7. If husbands treat their wives properly they can pray confidently also. I just thought I would share that with you.
Thank you very much. Yes, I can not do anything on my own. I desire to humble myself and give my cares and requests to my heavenly Father. For by His grace was I saved. And by His grace and mercy, I desire to continue to focus on Him.
