You Can Make a Change

Christmas season is a happy time for many…but for some, it can be full of pain, sadness, and despair. People are searching for help and support and often come online to find it.
Our staff and trained volunteers have had personal conversations with over 70, 000 people this year! We are able to meet these people and connect with them at their point of need. Here is a recent life that was changed by the relationship they had with a mentor:
A mentor received a very troubling and difficult email from a married woman who was about to leave her husband for another man, who was also going to end his marriage. As a result of the conversation that took place, this woman made the decision to end the relationship with this man. It was a difficult one, but she realized that the breaking up of two marriages was not what God wanted her to do. Later she told her mentor, “You know yesterday when at the end of my rope, I don’t even remember what I Googled, looking for advice… and somehow ended up on your website and got you. God is so beautiful.”

To Sonia, you are correct to say God is not present in idols but you are MIS informed on the rest…let me shine some Truth on it for you…FEELINGS are a part of the “soul” and so they are fickle and sometimes on a roller coaster. it is only when they are surrendered to the HOLY Spirit will they be used in ways of Peace and self control. One can not always trust their “feelings” unless they are of the LORD. Our BODIES NOT OUR SOULS are the Temple of which when we receive the gift of the HOLY Spirit then belongs to HIM. “ALL” gods are NOT equal to the same one. To follow “budda”, or alla or mahatma ghandi or mother theresa for that matter….is to follow a DEAD person. It was JESUS and HIM alone who WAS dead but is now and for evermore ALIVE! There is no one else who can lead me to eternal LIFE but JESUS CHRIST for it was HE and ONLY HE who died on the Ctoss for our sins. Did budda do that? Are YOU going to die on a cross to save others because you call yourself a “goddess”? You have the choice to believe what ever you want yet now you have no excuse for saying you weren’t told the TRUTH when you face GOD ALMIGHTY on your judgement day. i’m sorry you have been deceived and i pray you find your way to the ONE and the ONLY ONE who can save you. i also pray for those who choose to follow that net you layed down for others to get trapped in. JESUS LOVES YOU!
Not all all Lillie. Our mentors are volunteers who give of their time and energy to respond to our visitors from around the world. But it costs us money to keep the software running that the emails go through, to pay for the servers, for the developer that helps to fix the bugs, etc. Because Power to Change is a charitable organization, every dollar that is needed comes from donations of people that choose to give us some of their hard-earned cash. ;-) Hence when we figure in our monthly costs and divide them by the number of visitors that email us, we came up with the $4 to ‘reach’ each person. Hope that makes sense to you.
So TruthMedia pays thier mentors? i don’t understand about $4 to “reach” each person? If i were a mentor is this what i would get paid?
