Tell Us Your Life Story Video provided by: TruthMedia Films
When you signed The Life card, was it an easy decision? Or a difficult one? If you spent some time praying and wrestling with the decision to surrender your whole life to Christ, you are not alone.
Sharol is someone who had to wrestle with signing the card. Watch her story.
Andrew also struggled with signing the card. Here is his story:
I grew up in a Christian home; my dad was actually the pastor. I became very good at acting like I knew what I was doing because I really desired peoples’ acceptance. Since coming to University I have been involved with Power to Change on Campus and it has helped me realize that I am not a Christian just because I went to church and because I ‘knew’ what to say. God has been in a process of bringing me to the end of myself. This year I attended Winter Conference with P2C in Toronto. Leonard gave his talk on the Life. As I reflected on my life I realized that I had let a lot of what I had learned turn to pride and I was becoming just like the Pharisees. I took some time over the next few days to reflect on my life. God really started to open my eyes to the sin that was keeping me from fully surrendering my life to the call He has for me. So since signing that card it has been awesome. I have got other brothers that have signed it as well and we are really working to die to ourselves and become the men that God want us to be! I am thankful for the challenge and I am so stoked to get other on board! That is my story of why I made this decision and I cannot wait to see where our heavenly Father is going to take me!!
