The Bible: Reliable?

The Bible: Reliable?

The Bible is heralded as a wonderful and sacred text by both Christians and non-Christians alike; but, is it reliable? Repeatedly in Scripture, the words: “Thus saith the Lord” appears; but are Scriptures really the word of God? What details do archeological pursuits unearth, and how do they shed light into the validity and reliability of Scripture? Josh McDowell presents several key points as to how he came to believe that the Bible is true, and divinely inspired by God. He discusses the highly important contributions of archeology, the awe-inspiring discipline of Jewish scribes in their mission to transcribe the Bible, the influence of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the Biblical writers’ keen eye for detail that cannot go without notice. Finally, Josh shares the impact all of these historical events have made on his life — and in the lives of many others. Watch the video

I often ponder the big bang theory. I wonder if our Father in Heaven calls something into existance would it be quiet or done with greatness like that of the big bang theory. When he made man from earth, was that sone in a process or did man just come up out of dirt. My research on this still continues because I believe that maybe there is some scientific evidence that will prove without a doubt that life just didn’t evolve from no where.

if josh m. doubts his relationship with GOD in any way then of course he would doubt the authenticity of the scriptures. but anyone with a true and close relationship with GOD, JESUS then doubts not and knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that GODS word is real and true without questrion nor compromise.i believe if you check the scriptures about what i just said you will finds GODS answer there in very understandable english.
